It was he was a product of his time but in his day he was great. Look at what he did at Bolton transformed the team and got them punching above weight and playing some good effective football.
I think he’d of won something with that England team as well.

I'd have him as Leeds manager. He didn't have half a chance to save us last time. He was brought on way too late.

Brian clough famously hated leeds even as our own manager, doesn’t stop him being one of the all time greats does it?
Pretty sure Alex Ferguson hated leeds and he was the best ever.
