Keep calm everyone! It’s logical that these last few positions were going to be the hardest. Match winning players of premier league level, some aspiring to European football, everyone wants them! They take time to make final decisions and then there is talent young and old that is not going to make certain clubs premier league or European squads. Lots of great talent still going to be available!

Came into the summer imagining that we’ll probably need to sign 2 fullbacks since Firpo is off. Now that Schmidt is likely leaving on loan to Bremen is it out of the realms of possibility that we sign Justin AND Zanotti as backups? I can’t imagine that anyone will be very pleased if our only real backup fullback is Byram.

32 games in a very poor Leicester team, a team that didn't score at home for about 10 games last season. Put him in a half desent team and he's guaranteed to have better stats. I like him.

Fulham have submitted a bid for Ricardo Pepi from PSV… They clearly don’t view Muniz as their main No. 9 however they obviously don’t really want to let go unless a new striker comes in to challenge and eventually replace Jimenez.
If that player is Pepi and also if Atalanta are reportedly ‘struggling’ (take with a pinch of salt) , then the Muniz dream seems a lot more realistic. People forget we have actually had a £32m including add-ons bid rejected. Considering they are also looking at Sterling and Taremi and Chukwueze and… “Kevin”, could we not pull another Longstaff and potentially make the base payment £32m and then work from there in add-ons? In other words this deal is the only thing that will save us from insanity and Josh Sargent .

Sorry to break it to you but Paixao and Muniz alone could go up to £80m if the 49ers are even willing to spend that amount.
