Weah's numbers don't exactly scream "Prolific".149 appearances for Lille and Juventus with a return of 11 goals.
Pascal could probably get that many from corners alone if we converted him into a no.9!

I think he has talent. He seems to be fairly switched on and I wonder if he will shine at Leeds. It wouldn't be the first time and average looking player became a sensation under our banner.

Agree oldbri, think Piroe may just surprise a few in the premiership. He scores goals regularly in his time in the championship, may just do it in the premiership. Gyokeres at sporting Lisbon is wanted by some top teams in England, yet piroe has a better scoring record at Swansea and Leeds than Gyokeres had in the championship with Swansea and Coventry.
I think he deserves his chance to see what he can do.

Totally disagree guys sorry there was times last year when the games just passed him by, and how sharp you have to be in premiership is well above him like I’ve said about others I like what they be done for Leeds but surely you can see my 3 month old grandson is sharper, sometimes you can just see peoples levels and I get it with him exactly like I did with Harrison, griev, is probably the same just too slow and again I am not running them down in the least but someone else already stated alright playing ball back and side to side no he would be robbed every time these guys are really sharp like look at Man City, if they have nt got the ball they want it if you stutter you ve lost it you just know they ll be to sharp for them.

Does anyone think Harvey Elliot as a 10 to replace (or provide direct competition! ) would be worth a punt?

He’d be a definite starter in half of premier leagues teams. Would be a fantastic signing and was thinking yesterday it would be great to get him, even on loan, but can’t see it happening. Think after his performances this summer he will be on a lot of clubs radar.

Interesting shout LinL.
At times Elliot looks superb (u21 semis the other evening and quite often when he comes on as a sub for Pool) but then there's occasions (group games for u21s) when he either disappears or is just not on it all.
Having said that, he's got a better record in the prem than BA who was simply too lightweight at that level last time out (and probably will be this season too) .
If the price was right (ie. Very low! ) Then worth a punt - upgrade on what we've got.

While last season DF relied on quite a tight, small squad this season ahead the intensity goes up a magnitude of levels and perhaps he might have to trust a few more players within the squad as currently we are 2 or 3 injuries away from flirting with the bottom three. Hopefully we're reinforcing what we have and adding strength in depth along the spine!
