This is fact, a student of mine works in s shop in leeds where leeds players often go yesterday one of the new recruits went in and he got talking to him he asked if he was playing against bradford his reply worries me " don, t know nobody knows the boss won't talk to us its a total shambles" fills you with confidence doesn, t it

I personally think it is about time we give Bamford a longer run out remember first season back in the premiership he was scoring for fun but now he gets very few irregular minutes which is no good for a striker only plenty of game time gets a player sharp and match fit neither piroe or mj are providing so give Bamford a chance absolutely nothing to lose.

In all seriousness despite chances he misses if his legs weren’t gone I’d play him in a heartbeat. Best striker we have but like I say with all his injuries he unfortunately can’t do what he used to do

Bamford's body ( injuries/ fitness) sadly has too often been a hindrance
BUT its also his struggle to convert chances with crowd PRESSURE that is most pertinent imo
Its no surprise that the 20/ 21 season with no crowds he was an absolute revelation in supremely talented perfomances and pretty good in goal returns.
In Jan we simply MUST sign another CF to increase top 2 poasibility.

Na Croft, I think Bamford’s time with Leeds is up. He may well go to another championship club and perform better, but the high expectations and pressure playing for Leeds United are often too much for him to handle unfortunately. As Baz says and I commented before, his best season was during covid when there were no supporters allowed in the stadiums.
He also flourished under marcelo, as did a good few others. Piroe seems to be a better impact substitute and the jury’s still out on MJ. We desperately need a decent centre forward and an attacking midfielder, also a solid goalkeeper is a must, and we will definitely get promoted.

Crofton, who would you start up front instead? MJ not up to the pace of the championship JG not good enough and PB too old now.
Piroe comes up with a goal when needed so therefore has earned the right to be 1st choice at the moment.
