The worrying thing I’ve just heard now is about how much money we have to spend and I was originally thought it would be 150 million plus and also the gains of player selling, but I’ve heard today now we only have 120 to spend altogether does any one know when we last won the championship I think we spent 200 million yet moved on from that now all prices gone up we won the league but are we getting backed now because of rangers, new ground, is that why Leeds deals taking so long must be passed before bidding, like personally I think we should back the team all the way with so many people waiting in the background to be getting their seats, also if we can sustain some stability this year next year be even better we won’t be playing catch up.

I read recently big Sam found him to be very agent driven. Even in the short time he had with willy.
I'm afraid that this could shape a career if willy doesn't wake up to what's happening and doesn't stop doing anything his agent tells him.
It happened with anelka. I think he had his brother as his agent and he never settled anywhere and sulked his way through his career.
{Ed001's Note - Anelka was very settled at Liverpool, lovely lad actually was always very nice and friendly and no signs of any sulks at all. Unfortunately for him Gerard Houllier didn't want to make him a permanent signing and instead signed dross. Honestly though, Anelka was not a sulky lad at all, he was very inquisitive though and would ask questions during tactical briefings and sometimes offered suggestions, which Houllier couldn't stand.}

Rumoured 19Mil. Why do we sell so cheaply when we should say 30 mill or of you pop and if he don't like it banish him to the reserves. He is under contract with no release clause and his wages are not massive so we hold all the cards.
Me for one won't be too disappointed if he goes as very hit or miss and recon a season in the Championship will be a benefit for him.

The signing of Nat Phillips from Liverpool seems to be gathering pace.
The right type of player that we need for this coming season. If true it shows intent that the 49s are serious and that more of this calibre of player will be signed.
I believe that a set of deals for the manager and players are in place when the ratification is confirmed.
I read a lot of if not most of what is posted on here and whereas a broad range of posts are discussed i think we are all together and really looking forward to the new season. I am for one. MOT.

We are a massive club in stature but not in nature. We can't attract the names being bandied about due to being recently promoted, if we were relegated (which i don't think we will) would these so called bigger players want to play in the Champo? Absolutely not so relegation clauses would probably be inserted like last time.
My guess is we buy players who give us a chance of staying up without the potential for imploding should we get relegated then buy more known players when we survive and build the foundations for the future.
Lastly i think we will make a couple of marquee signings in the positions were they will make a difference. We all know what these are.

Gonna be a long slog but unlike last season i think we will hit the ground running and that we are a more settled group. Yes we have lost two key players but have recruited well. Another couple of additions and we will be there or there abouts. i'm not in the band of "walking the League" but if we get off to a good start then i think we will win the league. Champions elect but happy with promotion any which way. MOT for the season boys and girls.
