I think Daniel Farke is getting a touch of Deja vu! Ala Norwich days.
Is this squad good enough for the EPL?
As it stands it'll be tough.

Maybe if the defense and the three midfielders in front can close up shop we will have a small chance?

I can't see us being free scoring like last season or even a fraction of it.
If we can get 45 odd goals n concede a similar amount much like Everton last season then you never know.

This squad is def not good enough to stay up.
Logic says we need full back am or winger and striker.
Without all three. It’s going to go pear shape.
I’m pretty sure we will get all three but as is said below and before. What quality is available in our price bracket that want to come to Leeds. Players will now they will likely be ina relegation scrap so possibly better off wherever they are.
Looking back on the vill game. They need a lot more gelling and understanding yet. Plus the players to come in. They must have had a plan and targets but not sure how well it’s gone. As class said. Only a 6.5 atm.
I’m sure Alf will remind us that we still have a month left though.

Deffo need more fire power up front. Piroe has made a fine start but apart from him we are looking a bit thin up top.
Farke had pukka at Norwich and not lot else. But i do think the defence and mid are looking ok.
We will be doing a lot of defending this year.

Well said Oldbri, it’s getting like the CDK saga all over again! It’s over, Paixoe has gone, he is of no concern to us anymore. Yes it’s quiet but what would happen if we suddenly started panic buying off the back of that disappointment, we would be buying crap, so just hang fire, we still have 2 weeks before we face Everton and then more weeks before the end of the window! From what we have signed already at good prices is great, if we had blown crap loads of money and then a couple get injuries we would have no money left so all this under cloak and dagger work seems sensible. Don’t give up lads and listen to your uncle Oldbri ??.

I agree Bright. what a pessimistic fickle lot.

I went to the game of Saturday and whilst it wasn't a great game, we were playing a top 5 La Liga side and they didn't create much against us. Man U, did essentially nothing against us. Watching Everton, Man U, The Cherries and West Ham last night, they all looked completely under cooked to me.

We all know, we are not going to score as many and we are going to concede a lot more than last season, so I am unsure why everyone keeps saying the same thing over and over. I think we [with the current recruits], better than at least 4 or 5 teams. I think we will see the EPL going back to "norm" this season, with the usual suspects back in the mix. Forest, Wolves, Palace etc will all be there.

Baz was the most pessimistic on here; seems plenty fancy taking up the mantle!

Even with essentially a month to go in the window, I am confident of a 14/ 15 place finish.
