Am I missing something in relation to the Raphina saga. I thought whilst you were under contract you cannot agree to terms with another club and not can you negotiate, particularly whilst the league is not mid or end of season. I think this whole thing stinks.

Absolutely, Dougie. However I do think a player can negotiate, and sign a precontract with a club abroad when his current deal has six months remaining. Something similar was said to be happening last season with, Alioski. That's certainly not the case with Raphinha, so if todays reports are true it stinks. A statement from the club, player or even the despicable Deco himself refuting recent reports before the Southampton game would be nice.

Dougie You are right but Leeds are hardly going to take action or report because they know it'll fall in deaf ears. We are Leeds so we can suffer will be the attitude. Plus in a relegation battle we are hardly going to upset our star player. My guess is Barcelona are in touch with Radz with 2nd and 3rd bids and it'll be over soon.

If true, move him on at the earliest opportunity, no player is bigger than our club. Negatively has an adverse effect in every team environment, and you can see by the way he has played lately his head has dropped, but as i said, i just don't get how this can all be going on without the club fully endorsing it, otherwise I am sure there is a breach of contract in open season period.

If the current club give permission its fine. If not I think it's tapping up. As it has been broadcast fairly openly I would guess the former is true.
