Hopefully get a British manager that has experience off the league or the premier and knows that to manage Leeds means something. All the players need a good kick up the arse to get the season going again. MOT. ⚽️⚽️😃

18 Jan 2018 19:24:00
On SSN that we signed Forshaw for £4.5m in a 4 1/2 year deal. Prob more than first thought. Or maybe fake news regarding the fee. ? Who knows but he's in now. Do wrlcime too this great club Adam Forshaw. All the very best. MOT. ⚽️⚽️👍👍😃

1.) 18 Jan 2018 23:12:44
" Deal worth £4.5m" could really mean anything and relates to add on clauses as well. Could be say £2m plus £2.5 if we go up in the next 3 years

2.) 19 Jan 2018 08:06:28
Not fake batty. The fee came from radz mouth not Donald farts

28 Aug 2017 23:23:43
Newcastle willing to sell Dwight Gayle to get some cash to add new players ! He would certainly fit our style off play. Quick and knows where the net is. ⚽️⚽️👍😃

1.) 29 Aug 2017 03:35:19
Can't stand the little idiot.

2.) 29 Aug 2017 09:06:30
I am not keen on him either, but I think he would add to our goal tally.

3.) 29 Aug 2017 09:47:20
I don't like him either, but with suiz and alo behind him I think he'd be brilliant. Quick, skilful, makes intelligent runs which can be picked out. No brainier for me. It has to be him if we're are looking for an expensive signing.

4.) 29 Aug 2017 10:45:51
He's a knob but a talented knob, one of them players you hate when he's playing against you but love when it's for you.

5.) 29 Aug 2017 11:56:52
If he's so good, why do Newcastle want to sell?

6.) 29 Aug 2017 12:09:19
Exactly SG, he only scored 22 goals last season, who wants that goal return in your team.

7.) 29 Aug 2017 12:48:17
He is excellent at this level, but I'm still confident in my source that Ings will be a loan .

8.) 29 Aug 2017 13:36:18
oh was that an actual source dogwise? from your post it just sounded like you were chatting to a random person.

9.) 29 Aug 2017 13:37:00
18mill for Gayle apparently. I think i'd keep the cash particularly as Gayle can be an injury worry.

10.) 29 Aug 2017 13:49:31
THought toon needed to sell! now surely £18m for a player who's great in the second division but can't get in their team in the top division is sort of pricing him out of all moves.

11.) 29 Aug 2017 14:29:58
That's my point Cura. You spend £18m on him, it's a huge gamble financially if you don't go up or if you do, you need to spend even more on a better striker and it becomes a waste of money.

12.) 29 Aug 2017 14:31:09
Newcastle spent £70m on Championship players, but now they can't afford PL players because of it and will struggle. You have to sign players who are good enough to get you up and play in PL. For £18m, Gayle is a rip off.

13.) 29 Aug 2017 14:31:59
How many goals did Gayle create for himself? If he's just finishing off team moves, then it's the creative players who got Newcastle up.

14.) 29 Aug 2017 14:50:56
Totally agree sg. if he's only good enough for the championship then clearly no prem team is going to go for him, therefore that leaves the championship teams. none of those can afford £18m for one player without going over FFP rules, so it's just a brainless bit of business from Newcastle. £10m perhaps up to £12m, but £18m is just crazy

15.) 29 Aug 2017 17:14:42
Al the guy is involved with Liverpool u23 and he said they will look to put him out on loan for games . They don't want him as back up or bench warming so he said Leeds looked a good option as we had sold our main striker. He does not make the decisions and has no power as such but to mention as in particular seemed strange to me.

16.) 29 Aug 2017 17:20:36
yes but does it not show that Championship players will not always cut it, and clubs like them buy there way back to Prem with an excellent chanp squad . Taylor and Bryam left and are not getting real game time,3-4 games without scoring Wood will be the same . You either need a strong team who play for club and each other or need to buy very well.

17.) 29 Aug 2017 20:08:06
Cartoon army apparently willing to accept a 'cut price' £10m now

18.) 29 Aug 2017 22:39:11
Gayle looks like he is on his way to Fulham 15 mil bid excepted.

10 Aug 2017 23:25:45
Away too Newport County in next round off cup. But to be played at elland road as they are resurfacing their pitch. That'll do. have to fancy our chances of progressing from this tie. MOT ⚽️⚽️⚽️👍😃

1.) 11 Aug 2017 14:13:33
I'll take that

26 Jul 2017 17:40:27
Birmingham now in for Aden Flint. Will we miss out on him and have our options lessened and go for either helender or barts. ? Either, I'd be happy with as jansson played with both . think the swede could be good value if he succeeds like jansson did in 1st season. MOT 👍⚽️😃

1.) 26 Jul 2017 21:55:32
Matty, were we ever in for him? I've been saying since our director of football started recruiting that I've got a feeling we will not buy any British players as they are seen as overpriced. I know we've got Pennington but he's only on loan. I may be totally wrong but let's see.

2.) 27 Jul 2017 15:19:04
I have a feeling you are right danum

3.) 27 Jul 2017 15:29:01
100% agree there Danum.

4.) 28 Jul 2017 12:03:14
I think we're profiting more from the frustration of talented kids being stuck in development sides in Spain. Huge talent churning through Barcelona and Real youth setups but they never get a sniff of first team football. We've had a decent record of bringing youth through to the first team. Now that's the main development strategy I'm very pleased. Much better to build success than throw cash trying to buy it. Boro tried it a few years ago. Problem was they were only recruiting local lads that weren't good enough and fast-tracked them to the first team. We're casting our net wide and getting hooks in all sorts of places, picking up some serious talent to develop. I'm giddy with excitement for the future.

Have to say I havnt posted in a lot off weeks. Maybe months. As it depresses me reading the posts and the posts I may write myself. But sitting in Spain. I'm sitting thinking . after nipping round too watch a bit off the Fulham game. We are rubbish. ! TBH. I was wanting too give what the heck ? A chance. But not looking good. Need too fork outnon a high class manager. Not a coach. And give him the choice on transfers for players and players out over the summer. This season was over before heck came. But its getting worse. 🇪🇸⚽️😩

1.) 07 Apr 2018 08:57:51
Batty. Heckingbottom came in with no expectations and no pressure just turn results around and stop the rot. He failed miserably Tuesdays match was a prime example of his inability. We go 2 down in the 60th minute and he waits 12 minutes to make a change. Why wait so long? Answer he did not know what to do

2.) 07 Apr 2018 09:41:48
Heckingbottom not the long term solution and realistically should be changed at the end of the season. This season has been a mixture of poor players and coach/managers. AR needs a complete rethink into his future plans for the club because if he has not learnt anything from this season then he needs to move on and let someone else try.

3.) 07 Apr 2018 10:46:35
How do you know he is not the long term solution when he has inhereted a dissolusioned team with little or no say in recruitment and not even been given a season or a summer transfer period to do anything. Now I am not saying he is the answer and I an not even saying that maybe you are right. What I am saying is before anyone passes the death sentence he deserves a full fair trial.

4.) 07 Apr 2018 13:38:34
If, big if! We are serious about getting out of this league (prem not league1) then IMO we need a strong manager who will have a say in recruitment of players he wants, don't think PH is that man, more a yes man.

02 Mar 2018 20:47:31
Pity we could not make 5 subs at half time. O'kane. Phillips. Wielweid Anita lassoga off too f@&k . absolutely carp.

1.) 02 Mar 2018 21:17:51
Only 5?

2.) 02 Mar 2018 21:31:28
Well I was trying not to be harsh. 😂😂😂

18 Feb 2018 18:08:52
Would ya believe it 2-2. All to play for. 😂😂

1.) 18 Feb 2018 18:28:20
So close to nicking it too! Positives from the rally period to take and focus on in training, and at leat we retained 11 men!

05 Feb 2018 22:20:14
Conte will be available in the morning . but let's face it. Everyone calling for a big name manager. Why would one come too leeds unless he had total control off everything on the playing side. ie transfers. Team squad etc etc. And that's what proper top class managers do. So won't see them at Leeds. Smell the coffee fellow whites. ⚽️⚽️🙄

1.) 05 Feb 2018 22:55:10
We are leeds utd at end of the day. A one horse pony with fantastic support and a great history. Anybody should want a chance to become a legend.

2.) 05 Feb 2018 23:40:57
I agree ausman. But with radz sticking with orta we have no chance off getting a top class manager to take us we’re we should be. Not going too happen unless radz grows a set and tells orta to go to Spain and look after that other team and leave us alone. ⚽️⚽️🤔

3.) 06 Feb 2018 00:33:17
you mention conte then say total control, conte don't have total control of chealsea, very few if any big managers do now days, this is modern football

4.) 06 Feb 2018 12:32:02
Tongue n cheek BW. thought your intelligence would have read into that matey. 🤔🤔

03 Feb 2018 22:50:10
No matter who plays at the back. We are absolutely horrendous at defending balls into the box. Should it be from corners. Free kicks. Or crosses out wide . we are just terrible at reading the ball inti the box. It's embarrassing as it's not just this season. It's been for a few years. And teams know. Get the ball into the box. They havnt a clue.

1.) 03 Feb 2018 23:39:17
I posted this earlier, but there have been so many posts since. I noticed today we have a very small side. anything in the air is against us, simply because we don't have any height. Cardiff, as you'd expect under The Colin, were all "units", all over the pitch, and the simple fact is, that unless your team is full of Messi's or even Gobbing Saiz's, you cannot compete with that physicality. that was our undoing, and has been for many matches this season. aaaaaand, cue thumbs down.

The young lad has bags of talent. To get him in and developed we could have a great winger on our hands. Yes he plays in a lower league standard but has played in europa league qualifiers last 3 seasons playing well and not looking out off place against some decent European teams. can’t say many in squad has played in europa league or internationally

Strange to pay that sum off cash when his contract is up at the end off June and can leave for free I believe. Could be wrong but sure I read it somewhere.

We should have got them last summer when it was well known the pair where on the radar. Just wouldn't pay the £3m for flint and £2m for Bryan and they were British. Now both are worth double. 🙄🙄

No reason why he shouldn’t be our number 1. But good competition is always good for the team / squad.

Lighten up lads. Let’s just see what happens. We are fans with opinions. That’s it. I only wish I could have been a professional footballer. We obviously couldn’t do any better. So let’s just be positive. I do hope they all bust their balls too impress. That’s all we ask. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Exactly as both Charlie LB and Sam RB have gone onto better things and enhanced their footballing careers. No hold on a minute. Enhanced their bank balances just. Young players at the club. Take heed. you will lest. And progress much better and faster if you stay put. And play games u like some players who left thinking off one thing. 👍⚽️⚽️⚽️
