Like others, I do not wish to see Derby go out of the league.

I can sympathise with Boro and Wycombe but actually believe their claims have little chance of success, but Boro chairman astute enough to know if he’s an obstacle for potential new buyers, then there’s a payout to be had.

Once again this comes firmly back to EFL’s door and who was on their executive committee throughout Mel Morris’s tenure as Derby owner.

£200,000 we were fined for spygate, when crowd riots and abhorrent racism incur a fraction of this amount in fines!

This ridiculous fine for Leeds was mainly attributable to Morris and fat Frank stirring everyone up against us whilst all the while Morris was openly and flagrantly cheating the system.

Remember how much money and resources EFL exec put into the ownership of Celino’s yacht whist they exhaustively tried to throw him out under proper owners test, thus placing Leeds at serious risk of administration.

Of course, we always knew we were the cash cow tv wise for the championship, but it’s interesting to note that in Wednesday and Derby who were heavily represented on the EFL exec, both were found guilty of cheating

There has to be a price to pay for Derby, sadly that may mean selling all their assets best players (wouldn’t mind Lawrence) and if that means relegation then do be it, but the club must survive for the decent Derby and Wednesday fans.

It’s incompetent administrative mismanagement by the EFL themselves that should be brought under scrutiny by this very sorry mess.

That's always the issue in these cases, as we know from experience. It's the Fans who suffer. I agree regarding Lawrence, a good player when he is in the mood.

Lawrence indeed a good player on his day but that’s infrequent. Know quite a few derby fans and he’s not held in high regard.

Cheers Cork, admittedly I’ve only ever see Lawrence on highlights and he seems the standout player but admittedly that’s not based over a sustained period and it is the championship. (Like Kent In Scottish PL)

Not everyone can bridge the gap to the premier and sustain it, when you look at Struick you know he can be comfortable playing at the higher level, but take Luke and I thinks he’s struggling to sustain it at Pl level and believe the club are looking for other RB options.

Lawrence I’ve been told a lazy prick.
As for Ayling I’m not sure. I like his attitude and leadership skills but for a RB not to have any assists last season in the modern game is more than poor.
However if Leeds were to upgrade his position he’d be an absolute gem of a squad player like a modern day Madeley.
