Sebastiaan Bornauw moves to 1.FC Köln

As BILD learned, Sebastiaan Bornauw is still being offered and wants to leave the club to gain match practice. Likely to be a loan.

That really does surprise me, as he must've realised that he wasn't first choice when he signed? Means we need 2 more CBs for back up, as taking Amps out of MF now that he's re-settled there, shouldn't be an option in my view.

Surprises me as well because Bornauw has performed reasonably well since he came in and I'd rather have the devil you know rather than risk bringing in two new central defenders. I'd keep him and bring in Desai.

He may have aspirations to play in the World Cup but we pay his wages and when he's needed he has to perform-it helps us but also his desire to be selected for the national team.

I’m amazed if this is true, the lad was injured for the majority of the time after joining, but has done pretty well when given opportunity. Hope this is not the player/ agent pushing this as that’s certainly not side before self behaviours.

And being a squad player in the epl is definitely a higher standard than player for one of the lesser teams in the Bungdalesia.

The Dutch lad looks promising from Berlin but I think we need him as well not instead of.
