If anyone’s interested, I’m exiled in the Potteries so went to watch Stoke v Blackpool today. Kept a close watch on Josh Tymon and I have to say I was very impressed. Strong in the tackle and gets forward constantly, his crosses led to both Stoke’s goals. His fitness record is also very good although, ironically, he was forced off with injury late on! Over all I would take him over Firpo, the only worry would be if he is ready to step up a level, at the money mentioned (£5-6M) I think he’s worth a punt.

Just been looking at the odds for LUFC to be the R word in the coming season. Considering the certain loss of KP and potential for Raph to go, I think fifth favourites is a very fair assessment. Time will tell!

The reality is we are likely to loose our two best players, and one of them was our top scorer from last season . As it stands I can not see where our goals are coming from and we haven’t replaced the lost players with better ones . So yeah it’s a worrying time . Nothing wrong with the players we Signed but we needed them in additional to kp and Raph.

The lad Tymon at Stoke is a decent left back/ wingback. Rangers reportedly ready to pay £5M for him.
