Apparently we are preparing a bid to bring Howson back from Norwich 4 mil reporting on some sites ? Thoughts people?

6 goals and 8 assists this season so he smokes any of our current midfield, sadly, and he always did step up his game in big matches in the Leeds shirt. £4m seems a little steep for a player a club is actively trying to get rid of but I would rather him at that than shelling out £3m on an untested Lg2 player, which we seem to be looking at again. Gives us the option to start him with Hernandez coming off the bench against tired legs for the last 20 too which might be fruitful.

Can play both number 10 and number 8, so perfect for monks situation. Something he tried to adapt Phillips into last year but couldn't cut it. Howson has experience now and after 2 years in the premier league and 4 in this league, I think it would be a steal as we would all love to see him back and making this club head upwards and only upwards. Good signing

It's a no from me. Over rated, bang average but rated because he is local. Not pulled up any trees at Norwich and if they want rid, why would we want him? ! Look forward not back. Had his time and 4 mil wouldn't represent value.

He would go missing for large periods of games, gave the ball away far too cheaply but would occasionally pop up in the right place. Two million max but I honestly don't think he would add much.
