I’m surprised Bielsa didn’t try to tweak the tactics a little. It’s clear that he believes even without the core of our squad that we can still win games with our all out high press.

Since we are not going to get KP, Cooper and Bamford back before thé the end of the season it comes with a very heavy heart and an enormous amount of sadness that I concede to the fact that Bielsa must make way to try and preserve our premiership status.

I have no idea who can drag these morally broken players out of their doldrums and get them to fight for our survival after all that they have been through with Bielsa.

It’s a huge call to ask any coach to achieve that, I suspect Orta needs to find a manager that can deal with the Championship.

Bollox to it there’s more relevant things happening right now in Ukraine that make the plight and demise of our football team very irrelevant. Besides, it’s not the first time this has happened to us. MOT ALAW.

With you OP.
The situation in Ukraine is terrible, and unsupported by the vast majority of Russians.
On a lighter side of society, I fear MB will be confirmed as gone tomorrow at the latest.
I ask this tho. Who on here has not not revelled in the beauty of his football? Who here has not loved our promotion and subsequent top ten finish, in the PL, in great style. Who has not rejoiced in some of our greatest victories in many decades.
Now who will look back on his tenure, and say he failed?
Wonderful human, great man, great coach. A revolutionary.
Now spout yer venom, because I ain’t listening.

Chris: ' thank you for it ALL ' hmm Years 1 to 3 thank you particularly year 2 excellent

But year 4? Big no thank you at all . and that is down to Bielsa and Co
Terrible pre season, awful in most matches. the Southampton and Brighton away games were the red flags that should have been acted upon.
Probable relegation no legend status for me.

Baz the sum of all thr parts for me and countless others is sheer joy . Yes this season has been a mare that could + should have been avoided but you know who i mostly blame for that!

Yes i know bubs intransigence has also been a big issue, but i can't help but still respect the man massively for the football we played, he's a elderly man and they nearly always stick to their guns and not waiver. My own parents are ssme, i will probs be that way hopefully when i make that age .

So the chairman + best pal will probably have spent the night writing some bull she- ite thank you statement for him, but he can always remember his adam forshaw comment ( nothing against him ) but he wasn't what we badly needed this year, + uktinately its poor personnel that have got us here. Radz + victor head that dept I. M. O.

You just can’t help yourself Baz can you? Do you think for one minute MB is enjoying what’s happening? No I don’t think he is, so show some class will you and give him a bit of respect! ✊✊.

Good post Chris well reasoned : I get your point about age and intransigence ( generally speaking) but not all elderly people are that way; some embrace change, try new methods and adapt if what they have been doing isn't working can be improved upon.

Woody I am sure MB is indeed smarting, we all are.
