So now that the big boys are starting to make their moves, there will be others that have to make room, so maybe there will some better players available soooooooon .

Plus still don't see how Girlish was worth 100M.

CA, that has been the way for many many seasons. The big boys hit the trough first. The smaller ones feed after.
I have a couple of southern-softie mates living the good life here up north and they were saying that as soon as Leeds were promoted. The big boys decide on their European and Premiership squads and then offer out the ones they don't need for loans and permanent transfers. It has been there way with their beloved Hammers for a long while. Even during their European seasons they still don't get to eat first!

I have been presuming that that is why we have been buying up mainly from foreign teams, and the "Premier League ready" purchases are still to occur.
I guess Longstaff was on our radar last year as Newcastle knew he wasn't going to be in their squads.

Not to worry though. In my opinion, our team last season would have beaten all three relegated teams (even tho we sold over £100m of talent and they bought roughly £100m of talent from the previous promotion scrap) and since then we have added quality all over the park. All we have to do is stay up. I don't need a Brazilian wonderboy (Roque Jr anyone) I just want to stay up.
