Wolves leak information about CP interest.

Wolves fabricate information about a £50 million offer form Palace.

Palace say lol, we've signed our original target.

Now.

Wolves can renegotiate with Leeds or do nothing.

That's where we're at.

All the media furor was/ is Wolves trying to pump up the price.

They need as much money as possible but they may have been too greedy. For them to have a £50 million deal (let's pretend) and make a meal out of it, only to come back to Leeds is a desperate, desperate move.

I hope Leeds take them to the cleaners to teach them a lesson and to show that we aren't to be messed about.

That sounds very plausible MoT . depends now how desperate are Wolves are to sell all indications are that they need to sell now …Leeds may yet get a deal that the we’re hoping for.

What we should do now is withdraw our original offer and make a new one with two alternatives.
1 Buy now for say £20M
Or
2 A loan with an obligation to buy in July for say £25M

They can then choose either a reduced sum now, or an increased sum in 6 months time which would also suit Leeds PSR calculations.

Max Price for JSL is £30M at the age of 25 (only 3 years younger than DCL! ) . He is a viable option and would fit Farkes request to operate with a smaller group and cover for CF (He cannot play anywhere else) and would have re-sale value if it didn't work out.

Wolves are down, so we hold the upper hand here. don't disrupt the team spirit if he's not keen to come. MOT.

I've s sneaky suspicion that Palace never did suggest they might pay £45-50M, and that rumour was just Wolves trying to drive the price up, and Palace don't want to play that game.
