Would love to have danny ings at Leeds. even if it is only rumours. hope kelvin stays too.

Danny Ings is a very decent footballer but like Gerard not finding a place for him and preferring Watkins, I think Paddy will still be the preferred choice. Ings is 30 soon, I don’t feel that is a sign for looking to the future, more of a stop gap.
We definitely do need another striker but for me it’s not Ings, he will probably cost about 25 Mil and don’t forget his wages would be the highest in our team at about 120K.

OP - exactly my thoughts on Ings too. Would be good to have as a bench option, but not at the price Villa would probably ask for, and not on the wages he’d want - don’t want your top earner sitting on your bench.
