Seeing a lot that Monk is to be let go, I feel he's done very well this year. At times he's been cautious but if you'd of said we'd of finished where we have now 3 games in i'd of taken it. Question is, who's good enough to take us further? What mangers are even without a club that have a winning pedigree? I wouldn't mind given him another go next year, it looks like we might have a decent backing from the board. Hopefully a few good signings and only the deadwood sold, on to the next season âš½ï¸

agree T There's a lot to be said for stability and continuity. Why go backwards, lose a year and start all over again. Unless you really have to. To me 7th is not failing, in a first season 7th is a win (on a shoestring budget) . No one is perfect even any new appointment would have his faults, foibles and favourites so let's hope Monk stays, builds on his good work and is 100% supported by the board.

In fairness we had a team of youngers and loans, I predicted we would not be top six and I'm gutted to be right however what a platform to build on . If we can get Bark we should, pilot yes and another c/b as cooper is not top table champ level. P H blows hot and cold, is fairness lots of games including cups and defenders do kick the hell out of the guy, but are lack of goals from midfield has been an issue . whether we keep Wood or not I don't think will be a decider if we replace with quality (I would love Wood to stay think he has really grown as the season progressed)

Th I understand your point, but are you just thinking of the managers whom we know in this country? Who had really heard of Wagner? who thought Stan would go to reading? that hoffienhiem u18 coach who's now their manager? I'm sure there are some fantastic people who we just don't know about yet, or alternatively rads might surprise us and fund a more ve for someone like Benitez! We may even stick with monk. Think it's ping to be a waiting game. My guess, monk goes and it's a foreign coach, one we don't know much about, but who knows his stuff and has a good pedigree!

I get the feeling Radrizani works with his head not his gut like Massimo. Monk has done a great job with what he had and has done enough to suggest he can take us even further with more backing. I think despite the current rumours, Monk will get a new contract and will be backed in the summer.

Shouldn't even be thinking about replacing Mr Monk, we cry out for stability and because we fell apart a bit at the end of the season he has to go? Get a grip ! ! ! We finished higher up the league than we have done for far too long .
