I wish people would get off cellinios back, heh have sat in our club and tried rinsing us and yet the only guy interested in doing anything just gets smashed with abuse. if he buys elland road outright 100% that means the club become worth more money of which he only owns a certain %% no one with a business would do this. But us fans just expect it.

As a business man, if he buys Elland Road he owns Ella d Road, I'm sure a lawyer could draw up papers to that effect, this is the real world . GFH own 25% of the current Leeds UTD, any assets purchased with Mr Cellino's cash would belong to Mr Cellino . Who ever owns it now does not share it with Mr Cellino and GFH do they? , it's rented back .

2.) 03 Feb 2016 11:55:44
Secondly if Elland Road is purchased with Leeds UTD money received from Transfers ie McCormack and Byram, well GFH own 25% of that, they would be entitled to a part share in the ground, wouldn't they?

3.) 03 Feb 2016 12:01:18
The majority of fans believe whatever the chairman says and Cellino has on more than one occasion said he will buy Elland road and Thorpe arch and as such we quite rightly expect him to deliver, if he can't do that then he needs to shut up and get on with looking after the club. The same could be said of the players he has bought sines he took over, again he has made it very clear the majority of players ought since he bought the club and his choice and the majority of them have been a complete waste of money.

4.) 03 Feb 2016 14:09:18
I'm confused Loveawaydays, are you saying make the club worth less so no one profits? Or just sit still, hoping they bail out before we crash to division one .?

5.) 03 Feb 2016 14:16:32
Who wins if the club stops haemorrhaging money in rent for Elland Road or Thorpe Arch? LUFC! who owns LUFC? Cellino and GFH, so who will be losing exactly if they owned them both? I'm sure they would be purchased by loans, taken out by LUFC!

Botaka played 90mins today in the u21s got an assist. Uwe said on Saturday "we've two choices for botaka either play him Monday or Tuesday" he's played tonight so I'm presuming there's no place for him against Ipswich.

{Ed013's Note - Assistant confirmed today that he won't play any part tomorrow mate. I suppose he could make the bench if needed, but for now he is ruled out}

I know your all going to disagree which is fine. But am I the only one who love cellinio. I love reading his comments and watching the way he acts. Him going outside for a cig made me chuckle for a good while. I know people aren't keen on him but he has brought in players, yes a lot weren't brilliant but he admitted he panicked with the transfer embargo looming. With Pearson in I do believe we will sign some good players during pre season. He may be waiting for Warburton he might not but I'm happy to wait and see what he does bring in. But for pure amusement value I'm happy to stick with him for a year or two to see where he takes us. We finished the league in near enough the same position as last year on half the wages.

That makes two of us then I like listening to him although he doesn't make sense much and contradicts himself a lot but he's great to listen to

At least you still love seeing clowns.

3.) 15 May 2015 22:35:40
I love clowns, and prancing horses and the man who gets fired out of a canon at the end

I agree with you awaydays, he's still in my good books. I don't know who or what the Cellino Out brigade think is waiting to takeover magically, but Red Bull can get lost imo. He's improved the financial position, sold off high earners and journeymen and brought some good young players in. Silvestri is probably worth 10x what we paid for him already.

Maybe we should try sign Joe garner from preston . Near 20 goals this year. Scored a fair few with his head, left foot and predominantly his right. Only around 26 years of age so has a lot to to prove still

With around 100 appearances in the English divisions he boasts a return of 11 goals. Just the striker I want to pay to watch every week :/.

Surely celllino is the one who brought this atmosphere back to elland road .Imagine if ghf was still in charge. He was the only one who put his money in and has spent over 7-10 million on players .We're never all going to agree with every decision he makes or what team selections uwe makes, but that's football.

er window is closed, and Leeds United can reflect on a quality summer's business.

Not only did they address key positions of need, but they are unbeaten in the Championship after five games, with four draws and one win.

There do however remain players on the market with real quality, who could make an impact if head coach Uwe Rosler showed an interest.

Here is a look at five free agents the club could consider.

Kevin Nolan

Arguably the best player on the market, Nolan was surprisingly released by West Ham a week ago. He has experience playing and scoring goals in the Championship with the Hammers, and Newcastle, and while into his 30s, could be a real difference maker. His experience in vital situations could help the club turn draws into wins, and be the difference between a top 10 finish and the play-offs.

Ricardo Vaz Te

Another former West Ham man, Ricardo Vaz Te left the east London side in January. A short spell in Turkey followed and he remains unattached. The 28-year-old scored 10 goals in 15 games the last time he was in the Championship, and with the ability to play up front and on the right wing could be a useful addition.

Jerome Thomas

Thomas enjoyed a brief spell on loan at Leeds earlier in his career, and was released by Crystal Palace earlier in the summer. There is less need for Leeds to go back for th 32-year-old having addressed their lack of wingers by signing Stuart Dallas and Jordan Botaka, but adding strength in depth, on a free transfer, is not necessarily a bad move.

Urby Emanuelson

Former AC Milan midfielder Urby Emanuelson is capable of playing at left-back and on the left wing, and has a lot to prove after seeing his career fade. Once a promising star at Ajax, he finds himself without a club at the age of 29. A former Fulham loanee and Dutch international, Emanuelson's last club was Atalanta, and due to his Serie A exploits could be well known to owner Massimo Cellino.

Slobodan Rajkovic

Rajkovic was once one of Chelsea's most highly regarded youth prospects, with the club paying more than £3 million to sign him as a teenager. Just last season he was playing for German Bundesliga side Hamburg, but his career has been plagued by injuries. At just 26-years-old, the 14-time capped Serbian international centre-back is not ready to give up yet, and the 6ft 3" star could be worth Leeds taking a flier on, even on a pay-as-you play deal. Obvs got from another website but think I'd be happy with any of these.
