A deal to bring in young AC Milan midfielder Zan Benedicic to Leeds looks to be complete in the next few days. He expected to arrive on a season long loan after meeting Cellino on Monday, but a deal to bring in Federico Viviani from Roma looks to have ended.

it seams our best signing slip away not enough done to make sure we got him why? going to latina

5.) The delay in the viviani deal maybe because he was 2nd choice, think we tried to get zan beneticic first but milan said no to the deal . with salerno on board this looks now back and may include a permanent switch at the end of the loan.

6.) Not at all Barnsley White, Benedicic is an attacking midfielder that sits right behind the striker, viviani plays deep creative. 2 totally different types of players so there's no first and second choice about it.

Rory- they played some decent football. Italian style football, if you watch the Italian league it is slowed down and then passed about looking for openings, rarely did I see a stray pass yesterday it was a team display and we aren't relying on individuals anymore and that's great. No more long balls good passing football, on the new signings, silvestri is a decent keeper but he needs to work on his kicking, bianchi is good on the ball always looking for a pass but goes missing sometimes, doukara is physically strong and holds the ball up well, has some nice first touches and reactions, fitness is down but can work on that, Morrison played well and byram was always bombing forward, Chris Dawson is tidy on the ball and is a great prospect, berardi looked decent when he came on but looks more of a midfielder to me, tonge played really well. Cook needs to work on his decision making but he has some cool passes and is good tracking back that was my opinion of yesterday anyway haha

Looks like MC had Viviani as back up if Benedicic deal did'nt go through - or realised we actually have some decent midfield players at club and his money better spent on a CB and CF and if Andy Delors is signed think he could have a huge impact at Leeds. The Danish CB from Juve looks good but still have Michele Pellizer of Cittadelia in Serie B in our sights and Dom Dwyer of Sporting Kansas in MLS (poss just loan until January)

Conor Wickham looking to leave Sunderland. West Ham have had a £4 million bid turned down, why don't leeds try and sign him? Surely we can use some of the £11 million from McCormack to buy him.

1.) He's worth way more than 4! Assambolonga went for 5. I think they'll be holding out for 8/9. Too much for us I feel. Would like him here though

2.) He's in last year of contract, doubt he would be mega expensive.According to Sunderland fans he is after more money than they are paying him.So that's us screwed then

Cellino is waiting to receive the £800,000 that the West Yorkshire Police owes us in overpayments made by the club to the force for services rendered at home games between 2009 and 2012. He will then use the money to help buy back ER. Once this is sorted he is aiming to bring in four players before the Millwall game.

1.) Who made the link between any cash the club get from WY Police and the buy-back of Elland Road?

Two seperate issues not connected in anyway, shape or form!

2.) MC did not own the club in 2009 so is the money his or not?

3.) Priority must be the players first, surely!

Andy, its not his whoever owns the club. It belongs to the club. However, there will have been a provision in the buy out agreement what happens to litigation receipts covering someone's former tenure. What complicates it slightly is that originally this will have been a Bates issue not GFH (Bates was the one who began to dispute things with the WYP). I am sure the lawyers struck something fair as ownership transferred.

6.) GIW I would have thought that this was all part of the financial mess that delayed MC in buying the Club. Any monies due from WYP cannot, at this stage, be due to Papa.
