Franco Di Santo has been released, surely he's a shout?
1.) Why do you people think cus he's been released that we have a chance? he's a good prem player and will join a prem team so we ain't got a chance
2.) Probably will go to Everton
3.) He wouldn't even give us the time of day

5.) Yes he's been released but it last season he was 1 of there best players by miles and i'd put my house up that he will b in the prem as there are a lot worse than him in the prem at present
6.) He opted not to sign a new contract with Wigan so technically he hasn't been released and is going on his own accord because he obviously doesn't want to play in he championship
7.) Would have thought he had a relegation release clause in his contract, which he's just exercised.
No, he wouldn't give us the time of day as he obviously doesn't want to drop down a league.
To the poster that asks 'if he's so good why has he been released'. he's a very good player and clubs often release good players through their own choice or not.
You should try watching some football every now and again. It's a much better indicator as to the level of a player than his current contract status.
8.) Franco Di Santo might be decent in the championship who knows but I think he was poor in them prem.
9.) Lol di santo hardley played in the prem, he's a quality player

Offers on the table for 4 players, hunt and wabara look to be 2 of them. Would love for russell to be another. Starting to look forward to seeing some names through the door (hopefully)

I might be the only one, but i'm really happy with signing Matt Smith. I'm not saying he is defiantly going to be the next leeds great or anything, i'm just not saying he's awful either, as mcd's got a track record of pulling these kind of players from the depths and uncovering their potential. Stop the negativity and get behind the lads in white.
