Shay it ain't show

Agree3 Disagree1

I really don't see why we need another GK, Kenny & Ashdown are fine

Agree2 Disagree3

Too old. if BMcD wants a new keeper, hope he tries for a young, upcoming guy ala Schmeichel or Alex McCarthy.

JDC

Agree2 Disagree0

Obviously not true as BMD says he wants all his players in the Yorkshire area and from my Understanding Newcastle isn't in Yorkshire

Agree1 Disagree0

No need 4 another gk, and abit pointless buying yet another o. a. p so no thanks shay your not needed kenny is fine just needs a better defence, without kenny we would probably b in division 1 right now thanks 2 r pathetic defending, i'd only keep lees, warnock and I think peltier did well at the end of the season, pearce is good but can b replaced, byram is no good as a rb he needs 2 b rm, and white needs selling if we can.

Agree0 Disagree8

Kenny is ok! Must be his Sheffield past and/or his Warnock ties that make people bully him! If bmd goes for a new keeper, it will be because the right one suddely becomes available - a transfer he cannot miss! McCarthy might be like that. But probably not available - and now way bmd would go for a low hight geriatric which would bring be no better than the ones we have. And we do HAVE a couple of good goalkeepers.

Agree1 Disagree1

I would like to see Jamie Ashdown given a go instead of bringing another old boy in. I think he's looked more than capable when given a chance.

Agree4 Disagree0

Byram is no good as a right back?
really?

Agree0 Disagree5

Gets caught out sometimes defensively but he is still very good at right back. We looked better as a team when he was playing midfield. He gives us the options doesn't he?

Agree1 Disagree1

Byram no good as a rb? Have you been on the crazy juice? He's one of the top two rb's in the league

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah really, he can't defend, he's a good attacker but hopeless at defending.

Agree0 Disagree1

Given too old and past his best. But all this talk about Kenny only needing a defence is rubbish - the Guy needs to lose about 10 kilo as well. put yellow spots on him and he becomes Mr Blobby!

Should never have gotten rid of Casper IMHO.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not rubbish, our defence was a joke last season. just look at kenny record with other teams he has a decent record so proves he's a good gk but no gk will b any good without a decent defence and that is what we need. sell ashdown and keep kenny he's much better

I've heard a rumour that Stephen ireland could be joining on loan for the season, on 60k a week so villa would be footing most of the wages still but they are eager to get him out of the club

Believable21 Unbelievable67

Has ability - but never fits in at his clubs? often critical and has off field problems? - best stay clear - just my opinion

Agree3 Disagree0

Hes off to Middleboro

Agree0 Disagree0

He dnt have any off field problems

I would bet money that the key player is jobi mcanuff. A massive favourite of bmd at reading and will give us that bit of creative flair we've been missing since snods

Believable33 Unbelievable78

Very average player. I bet McD can make Ryan Hall into a player of similar ability.

Agree1 Disagree3

May have been Russell Hoult but he's joined Wigan

Agree0 Disagree1

I hope if he does sign he stays on his feet a little bit more than when he played for Reading! Decent player when he's vertical!

Agree1 Disagree0

No, no, no russell hoult played in goal for derby in about 1998 GRANT HOLT signed for wigan and by the way the player is simon church. MOT

Didn't BMd say he's been scouting for some time? If so he probably was tracking him at reading too so I doubt it's a reading player. More likely going to be a player about 24-25 as he's been watching him play. So he must have a bit of experience in the game?

Billy Sharp poised to sign for Reading. Le Fondre heading to Leeds. 12 months left on his contract, he's affordable

Believable88 Unbelievable58

Hopefully but can't see him Reading selling him, especially to another championship club.

Agree3 Disagree0

Are you party to Leeds United finances then? Suspect the board and BMcD are the only ones who know if he's affordable.

JDC

Agree0 Disagree2

He will stay at reading, makes no sense atall to why reading would sell i'm afraid

Agree1 Disagree0

I suspect that if Le Fondre comes in, Ross McCormack will be sold. prefer to keep McCormack I think, the guy loves the club and he's more versatile than Le Fondre. however, as always the decision is Brian McDermott's to make.

Why on earth would Leeds need yet another striker? Wake up, this area of the team is now full and we need other players in other areas, specifically central defence.

Agree2 Disagree4

How can you say wake up? We clearly need an out and out goal getter! The strikers we have are average and no-one is going to fill the gap becchio left (20 goals +)
It's you that's dreaming!

Agree5 Disagree1

Bmd likes McCormack in a creative role, le fondre is a poacher two different positions. Big matt and le fondre up to with Ross playing off them sounds good to me.

Agree1 Disagree0

If Morison was on 12k p/w, Le Fondre will be similar. He signed from Rotherham whilst Reading were in championship. We DO need another striker because Smith & Poleon won't be regular starters and McCormack could play in the hole behind strikers seeing as McD prefers the diamond. We need a quality number 9. Last season proved it. {Ed013's Note - I am told ALF is on 10,000 a week plus bonuses}

Agree5 Disagree1

No we 100% need 1 quality st to play with ross upfront and smith as a cf behind ross and if it was my choice i'd get marvin emnes from boro plays very well v leeds all the time and boro dnt play him much so yh grab him please boss

Agree2 Disagree2

Keep dreaming we want £6m at least for Le Fondre. Rotherham are getting a 20% clause on whatever fee we get for him so he will not be cheap.

Anyway we are short on strikers so why would we sell our natural goalscorer to a rival when we have much more money than you do.

Jog on

Your obviously the same Reading fan who keeps telling us that you have more money than us, well money didn't do much for Wolves, Blackburn, Leicester & Forest last year did it? your biggest loss & our gain was Bmcd, how did Adkin fair against Bmcd before!

Agree0 Disagree0

Since when have leeds and reading been rivals LOL

Agree0 Disagree0

6 million for Le Fondre? Now who's dreaming? He's got a year left on 10k a week. Sell now or he can talk to clubs about a bosman in january.

You have more money than us because OUR manager who you sacked got you tonthevpremier league.

Good luck with Adkins we have the better man!

Jog on with your little club you have had you day now get back to where you belong league 1

Morecambe white!

Agree0 Disagree0

We also have more money because we have a very wealthy owner who's dad is a billionaire. So yes we do have more money than you do at the moment. And to be fair I can't see us selling Le Fondre for any price. FYI he is in talks with us regarding a new contract
