Right then.
Looks like one of the Coventry lads is signing for us. This deal been kept quite.
Dom is going out on loan.
Been couple of offers for Luke. We want a transfer not a loan.
Ross enquiry told and 99 million buy BMD so he isn't going anywhere.
Norris to Charlton on a free

A keeper. 4 possibilities
Alex Pearce
That depends on of anyone becomes a available.

dont want to bring it back up but bolton in truble so what about our fav bekford
Agree3
Disagree3
Wolves are tipped to get Leon Clarke
Agree3
Disagree1
Beckford? He would certainly fit in with the 10 men who went missing yesterday!
In reality a Loan would be very interesting to see if it's true that he can only play well for leeds, but he is an overpaid, selfish player and there lies the problem
Agree4
Disagree2
Leon Clarke has put in a transfer request. Wolves, Brighton and Barnsley interested.

Hope the Coventry player is Moussa, think he would make a difference in our midfield.
Agree2
Disagree0
It's Clarke happy with this. He was left out of cov squad against Crawley
Agree3
Disagree0
Heard Moussa is pretty decent, scores cracking goals, good passer. 24 is a good age too. Him and either Dorrans/Charlie Adam wld be my targets.
Agree1
Disagree1
Is that the same Charlie Adam that's a regular in the Stoke team. Some people need to take a reality check and just talk about realistic targets for a poor mid table championship team which Leeds are at present and are likely to be for a long time yet
Agree3
Disagree0
Leon Clarke really! A Journey man striker who at 28 has played for 14 different clubs and has a strike rate of over one goal every three games (not bad but the goals are scored in the lower leagues), he is having a cracking season for his club however before that struggled to muster more than 10 goals a season. Do you think that description sounds like another striker we have signed? Billy Paynter - That worked out well didn't it
Agree1
Disagree0
Still a better option than becchio though. No pace, 2nd touch a tackle and most of his goals were also in league 1

Brian McDermott is planning to hold talks on Monday with Diouf. Diouf's contract expires at the end of the season. It looks like he will be allowed to leave this month. We have also received loan bids for Luke Varney and Dominic Poleon.
Believable49
Unbelievable9
Well he's reportedly on £10,000 plus wages, to not play, so If that's the case I would rather him leave, and get 2-3 young players in for less in wages.
Agree2
Disagree0
Get diouf back on the pitch behind the front man in a 4 4 1 1 and reliable brown in the centre to hold with bryam creative player with our 2 new wingers also get warnock back at left back where he should be
Agree3
Disagree1
I agree play diouf behind the striker. Excellent at pulling strings. I'd also play Austin as a central defender as part of a back 4. Would bring much needed pace and aggression.
Agree0

Warnock has been poor all season
Agree2

Let them go and another 5 or 6 with them

11k a week no legs left get him gone

Prefer to see him playing in place the dross on display recently
Agree0

Warnocks been poor all season? he's hardly played, but even when he did, he wasn't poor.
Agree5
Disagree0
I agree when Diouf is fit play him he gives 100% effort but sadly he's only 60% at the moment and NOT willing to increase his fitness in the near future so its a NO brainer i'm afraid ;(

The ever unreliable Sun had linked us with a move for Luciano Becchio.
Nicky Maynard is also going to Wigan, Billy Sharp and Le Fondre available too.
Believable38
Unbelievable12
Becchio not even on the bench yesterday. Doubt he's injured as my Grandad has had more playing time than him recently and he's been dead five years. Not sure if i'd want him back but thanks for the memories in any case Lucky!

Leeds fan here I think that becchio would be great as Matt smith does well but becchio plays the same but got a lot more goals
Agree2
Disagree4
Get all of them if possible.
Agree1
Disagree1
Sick of hearing about becchio take him 2 month to get up to full match fitness for a start, plus why would we need a striker when defence and midfield can't even link 3 passes together, need a old school cm who can't tackle and distribute and a cdefender who can erm defend. And a passfrom our goalkeeper rather than lumping it once in a while, I know Kennys a great shot stopper but he either a) needs competition for motivation or b) needs replacing with a talented youngster. Just my opinion though.
Agree5
Disagree2
Leave Becchio where he is. I'd take the others at the right price.
Agree4

Why did becchio leave Leeds? Was it because he wanted to go?

Whats that saying you make you bed you lie in it he left for money he got what he wanted anyone he should stop moaning anyone would leave for more money you would be crazy not to think so footballs a short career and I can't blame anyone leaving for more money anyone who reads this will think the same but with becchio he ain't fit plus his a confidence player how long would it take him to start scoring again plus his getting older by the second bad resigning in my opinion could waste 10 games of our season without scoring easily bring in a player who wants to play for leeds united in my opinion leeds need enougher defender a midfielder to partner with luke murphy and a striker MOT
Agree1
Disagree1
Well I say what can possibly go wrong with bringing becchio back. give the lad a chance. any one of you on here were offered a new job with even mroe money you would jump at the chance so just because its a football team then he's the worst person on earth. nobody can take away what he done for the club so he may have a bigger point to prove second time round
Agree0
Disagree1
Billy Sharp is signing for Reading
Agree1

Do some fans actually believe Becchio will just get the ball and score? He wouldn't have scored against Wendy if he were there and he won't add anything we don't already have. We need midfielders to put the ball in the box and create chances.

Hi guys, I've been told that by next week Leon Clarke of Coventry city will be a Leeds United player. Not sure whether it will be a loan or permanent. Also been told that Millwall have enquired about the possibility of Noel Hunt on loan as have Wolves regarding Dominic Poleon! 100% leeds fan mysekf. wouldn't lie to you

McDermott has said he doesn't expect to have signed anyone else before Leicester game so would question your source. Would also begin to question McDermott as he said he wanted to do all his business early and looks like ending up being any further signings being rushed in last week of window

Why when he has said there is going to be knowone new before next Saturday

Loan if anything!

If this is true it shows a complete lack of ambition from management and board
Agree4

To the person who has asked when BM said no signings before Saturday. He said at end of I/v with LUTV yesterday that whilst still looking for players was unlikely would happen before Leicester game.
Agree2

The loss of dexter blackstock as impacted with McCormack lack of goals and bad results. At 6.2 Leon Clarke is a similar option providing pace as well height. I'd personally b happy if we acquired his services. He's a Bit of a bad boy but r we not known as dirty Leeds?.
Agree1

Oh my god! Can we stoop any lower than bringing in this garbage!
Agree2

He's going to Wolves according to reports
Agree2

It's true we are leeds united why do we keep going for these lower league players if we were to go for any we have just missed out on the best forward from lower division nahki wells! We need to set our standards higher these lower league players wouldn't cope in the prem!

We haven't got any money for quality additions. we're skint.
