Its the same as last year with the new sponsor

No, if you notice the away kit from the season before always becomes the new 3rd kit, and then a new away kit is released

2007-08: Away kit = yellow
2008-09: away kit =dark and light blue stripes, third kit is the yellow one from last season with new sponsor
2009-10: New yellow away kit released, blue striped kit used as third kit
2010-11: New blue away kit released, yellow kit from last season becomes third kit
2011-12: New yellow and black away kit released, blue kit from last season becomes third kit

Could be interesting yellow and black

Yes, it is going to be yellow and black hoops to look like a wasp, we're hoping to sting the opposition :-)

Right now im watching derry city v shamrock rovers on irish tv. The reading manager is in the crowd, he's watching rovers garry maccabe. He's prob the best player in the league of Ireland. If leeds are that tight on wages why arn't they looking at bringing in some of the best league of Ireland players, those lads are on peanuts.

Because we still couldn't pay better wages than some championship teams.

I am seriously starting to worry.

Ken Bates has said himself that we're losing out on players to Premiership Clubs "but that just shows the calibre we're going for"

We NEED to replace the players we've lost. And Bowyer is going to Ipswich and Everton have come in for Lonegran... time is running out

It doesnt matter about the calibre we're going for if we dont get them due to low wages offers, we'll end up with loans again zzz

Once again sg will get no quality as bates will give him nothing to spend. Bates is only interested in bates not Leeds. Bottom three after six games and Grayson will be gone and it will be down to bates.

I used to go to school with a Sanchez Payne, not sure if anyone heard of him but he was training at Leeds academy. I've seen him play and played with him a few times and he's a quality player. Simon should sign him up.

Let be realistic and stop moaning - bates WON'T pay big wages so we won't sign big players - the best players we have now are the only ones we WILL have anyone who does sign will just be squad players - rachubka will be our number 1 and a few loans might come in to boost the squad but don't think we will be buying anyone - let's just accept we have done well to get out of Div 1 and settle for life in the championship for now - am a Grayson fan but bates is a business man and runs a club accordingly - Chelsea never had success till he left - it's frustrating but we have to put up with it and just get behind the team we have

Isn't this supposed to be a Leeds United rumours page Ed? The majority of comments are just plonkers critiscising the management and ownership. Grayson has done a fantastic job and Bates is a businessman that knows what he's doing, we're one of few teams that make a profit, we'll be the ones laughing at the teams that are going into administration at the end of it.

Grayson will bring in players that will make the team stronger, but ill be surprised if anyone wanted to come with fans like ours.

And how do you bring good players in with low wages and only loan players who want good wages?

If Bates caps wages and wont put his hand in his pocket to buy players we will never match the super rich owners of Leicester etc and we will never see the premiership again until we get bought out....amazing players will not come for 10k a week...simple

Blackpool didnt have amazing championship players and went up. Its all about the team working together in this league thats why we did so well last year as did Norwich. Grayson likes passionate players and that suits this division.

I get why people are moaning about lack of activity, but those moaning about the people doing so need to realise their are NO 'likely' transfers to discuss at present as alot of likely targets previously have gone to other clubs. its only natural people express their anxieties they do love Leeds at the end of the day. Otherwise this page would be blank lol or we'd be discussing our 'likely' signing of Messi, Ronaldo etc lol

If you were a fan you'd know what we went through with administration and the deduction of 15points, thats why bates has capped the wages, not just to be a tight t**t but to keep the club financially healthy

Lonergan will already have a premiership wage as hes had 7 pay rises in 11 years at preston just to keep him there, hes not gonna drop his wage and we cant afford what hes on

If Leicester are happy to pay big wages to a player who has only played 4 games in 3 years (3 of which he had left the field injured) then good luck to 'em. Sven is doing exactly what he did at Notts County...assembling a squad of players who are only there for the money.

Leicester lost 7million last year, god only knows how much they will lose this year- is there anyone they arn't going to sign? Typical sven spend shed loads a money gambling on promotion. I'd much rather still have a club on a stable footing and we still finished above them last season. You can't buy team spirit.

Believe me Sven is on a stable footing at Leicester owing to having billionaire owners...

Everybody saying we dont need to splash the cash, we need to stay financially stable, don't talk wet. With the delph fee, the big crowds we get, the massive amount of season tikets we buy, all the merchandise we sell, top players on s**t wages There must b a kitty with sum money in and i dnt mean like 250.000 i mean a couple of mill. We are one the best supported teams in the country and up there in the world. There is money, bates is just a tight ****. Like sum1 sed before if i was an ambitious player for leeds united i wud b long gone If we cant compete wi the likes of brighton wi wages an transfer fees. Then we might aswell give up now

Yes but we also have much larger overheads than most clubs in this division due to the stupid spending of the past that means we now rent thorp arch and elland road. there are clubs doing what we did 10 years ago which is spending money they havent got in the hope they get promoted and can pay back the debt. although a complete crook, bates is at least doing it the sensible although frustrating way. delphs fee was also based hugely on future apps for villa, england, trophies and sell on clauses by the way - NOT a ridiculous amount of money upfront

And we also pay alot higher ticket prices than othet clubs, surely that would balance out?

Agreed the crowds we draw in and the prices of everything else are much higher than everywhere else in the Championship, that would surely balance the figures.

Just heard thats Bates was keen on signing the Leeds "masters" side that won the Yorkshire masters to help us get promotion but a couple are still on tag and the others wanted more than a couple of pies and pints at half time
O'Dowd (i carnt remember boy george playing for leeds), Sharp , Cousins , Butler , Forrester, Whelan, Huckerby and Whijnard.

Well we had a dominand centre half in butler in the masters..mmmmmmmm....sign him back up

The problem is we dont do any transfer deals and every player we are linked with get snaped up by other clubs. Time to wake up and smell the coffee mid table here we come.

Another week no signings I know there's loads of time but I'm gettin depressed about lack of movement although clayton seems to be puttin himself forward for a job in midfield glad he may get a chance but we do need to strengthen

Another week? transfer window has only been open 1 week, give us a chance for god sake at least judge when the window closes - really hope these "4 signings" are quality for 2 reasons - 1. cos we need them and 2. to shut all the moaning, whinging people up that expect business to have been done within 5 minutes of the transfer window opening

Will you be moaning come the end of the season if we do poorly? Will you be moaning about lack of Key area's being covered by decent signing when we reach the end of the season? Im sure you will all wish we'd have adressed our problems now, when our holes are so evident.

Why do some people come on here posting total lies? Do they have nothing better to do, if it doesnt say it on Leeds website, sky website or BBC then it isnt even close to being true,

Am worried that teams like Bristol can pay better wages than leeds when neil K went and seems that some possible leeds targets are opting for moves elswhere, i for one want someone to but the club of bates, they dont even have to be billionares just someone that will invest in the TEAM and not just building hotels and stuff round the stadium,

Come on leeds lets get some good players in and now because if we dont we will not be getting play offs again which would possibly mean the sacking of grayson i think as we all know leeds as a whole has very big expectations many of us were dissapointed with 7th last season even though we came up from league 1 with our squad and a few freebies and loans

What's ugly about a plain white collared shirt? better than having tons of sponsors plastered all over it.

These cheerleader supporters are probably the ones that thought Risdale and co, had the best interest at heart for Lufc, maybe if people were more critical of ceratin ppl involved in the club things wouldnt have gone so far without the public knowing ;)

I dont think the main issue is it being retro more so the cheap quality, lack of time to design it, the ugly macron men weirdly placed on the shoulder for the TV cameras to see, and the miniture leeds badge etc
