Great news and a fresh start. Above all, we now need stability on which to build for the future. I really feel BMD should be given a clean slate too. In spite of some disastrous results, he IS a good coach and his stability and structure is probably a good foil to MC passion and unpredictability.

Im afraid his record at Leeds proves otherwise, his team selections, the players he has brought in, the hammerings we've had, would suggest he isn't up to the job, he gets very well paid to do that job, and as Cellino has said, "stop moaning and start coaching", think its D-day tomorrow when Cellino arrives back no suprise Haigh is the first casualty, won't be when Mac gets the boot as well, I would prefer mac seeing the season out though and start with a new manager and players next year, going to be an eventful week I think.

BMD seems a nice bloke and not denying he's not tried his best for our club but I'd like nothing more than MC to give him the boot! Poor signing after poor signing along with questionable team selections resulting in a 'fight for your life' finish to the season, the take over shambles have him a life line ad bailed him out abit but for is to move upwards he must go

Maybe we should judge him in December once things have settled. We were 5th until all this ownership sh1t kicked off with the original Haigh/Flowers bid and it became clear we were in deep financial trouble. I still find it hard to believe that he suddenly became a bad manager overnight.

As for his signings, sometimes new signings take months to bed in. That's just how it is. People on here were slating Grayson for his 'cra@p signing Ross McCormack' not that long ago.

I suspect people will be back here whining in a year if we're not in the top two. Listen to Cellino's interview: he's targeting 2016 which seems sensible to me.

We are Leeds and for once in the history of dealing with the people at eh FL they have been overturned.

Personally I think we should now go and appeal the rubbish we had to deal with when we got docked 15 points, but I am so happy to see someone has finally seen sense amongst all the biased decisions from the FL.

Premiership 2015 here we come.

yes back of the net. at last someone in charge at elland road who wears his heart on his sleeve as the players and manager should . mc is a footballing man with money who says what he thinks right or wrong, after all the endless parade of people telling us nothing about what's going on at our club I'm welcoming being informed as we all should be about how are club is being run . hopefully all the cloak and daggers . back stabbing . in fighting and poison chalices are behind us and the football will win the day . Fantastic news that MC has won his appeal against Harvey and his cronies. Prepare for a roller coaster as our passionate impulsive president takes the reigns. Now all I hope is together Leeds are able to buy the other 25% and rid us of the leeches from GFH and Master Bates. Hope MC buys back ER & TA and Mr Haighs new position is short lived. A new coach is clearly needed and a major rebuild of the team in the close season. And survivor once again you guessed soooooo wrong MOT

Agree with all you said apart from survivor guessing, he said he knew the outcome of the appeal and it was devastating, will never believe anything that guy says again, he caused a lot of despair among fans, bit of a Walter Mitty methinks.

Massimo rules, at last all the nonsense can end and we can get back to supporting our great club with optimism for the future. All the doom mongers can relax, we are going up next season. Season tickets will be out in a couple of weeks and we can all spend our hard earned money knowing it will be well spent. Brian needs to do some talking now to some one who knows about football and lay out his plans. If its not good enough tough. I follow Leeds because I am proud to wear the shirt the players and staff should do the same, they have not so if there are big changes then so be it as we now have a man who is passionate about football and loves the fans.

Just as the final whistle was about to blow it filtered through that Massimo had succeeded with his appeal, I must say after the last 3 months (make that 10 years )it's the most wellcoming news for Leeds Fans, on a footballing side I'd rather we continue without McDermott being involved in any plans, his tactics, team selections, performances have been shocking and the thought of him being let loose with millions of pounds doesn't fill me with confidence.

Dont think there's any chance of that, we all know Cellinos opinion of Mac and would imagine he's already got a replacement lined up and probably new players as well, although Macs had more than enough to put up with his management of the team has been woeful, thnks for your efforts Brian and good luck.

I was born in Garforth in 1963 but moved to bristol 2 years later and have always supported Leeds whilst the rest of the local sheep went from team to ream. Interview with MC lawer just been on radio Leeds, in brief the Fl are entitled to appeal, but have apparently excepted the finding of the arbitration, but not happy with the outcome.
I personally think that should anything untoward happen with MC the FL can pass the buck on this ruling

I believe FL been put under pressure to make a decision. Appeal QC indicated they should have asked for the appeal to be adjourned until VAT court paperwork has come to light.

After listening to Cellinos solicitor on radio leeds says same FL rules apply at all times. In other words can still ban him from being a director dependant upon court paperwork when it comes through. However FL would need to uphold there own rules for directors of clubs, if cellino gets barred after court paperwork comes through anyone else who would fail O & D if a current directer should be disqualified anyway.Dsm

We never get smashed when Brown is playing. Always gives his best. Said it all along. Still prefer Kenny to Butland. Pity about K's injury. We did better when Hunt went off. Still lost. Byram looks doubtful now. Looks like Hamstring problems. BMD can never get it just right.

I also do not think that Massimo will get approval on his own. I do think he is passionate about Leeds though and definitely would like to see him involved in some way. I think with his contacts we could attract some really good players and make a proper push for the PL. let's hope something can be worked out that is good enough for him to remain a part of it so that he can enjoy using his money to share our success.

In the meantime let's support the team today and hope for a better performance. MOT
