I have a horrible feeling something is going to go, how do they say it in Italian "tette up" with this takeover and were going to be up the dudai creek without a creek and no pot.
11 Feb 2014 22:58:24
Just watched McDermott in a post match interview, he didn't look happy and was just going on about were we are in the league and said it's about the right place and saying the situation needs sorting fast.
Well I'm sorry Brian but the running of the club or who owns it really has nothing to do with you, you get paid to pick the team which you half put together, you'll get paid what ever the outcome, so I'd concentrate on that due to another poor performance tonight and after a lucky win on Saturday.
I've got a lot of respect for Brian after the fiasco the other week but the respect is starting to dwindle a bit!
To be fair the players will be seeing what were seeing, hearing what were hearing, reading what were reading, the man did lose his job then got it back again, the players thought they had a new manager then they didn't.Christ sake cut the man some slack he has had more to deal with in the last few months than most managers do in a lifetime, so I think he has a right to a little whinge, and is doing a fantastic job in the circumstances.

We defo missed Stewart last night . We need a new winger maybe 2 if kebe not good enough . I think Stewart was getting better each game . Need more competition in this position . I think Murphy is a bit average. I still believe in the manager . Just needs a season with some cash so he can strengthen all areas. It ok saying he brought in these players but he probably wanted different players as well or instead but we couldn't afford

Cellino ill, you mean he's not got all his paperwork forged, I mean sorted for tomorrow's meeting with football league.
11 Feb 2014 22:39:43
Just our luck, Phil hay tweets cellino is ill tonight, just when we found a buyer the old Italian stallion going to croak it, just brilliant.
11 Feb 2014 21:48:49
No Becchio for canaries tonight not even warming bench. He can't be injured. What can he be injured from? On way back to us on loan?
No. Not at all. He never has any involvement whatsoever, tonight wasn't an abnormality.
He's normally an unused sub not even among the subs tonight
11 Feb 2014 21:37:13
very poor tonight, not looking like lads fighting for bmd.
BWR
Underwhelming as usual, I honestly don't understand what the problem is, I know they players aren't great but in general they're not a bad bunch, pretty average, shouldn't be playing like they do.
I think bmcd has stagnated the team, they don't know what to do and he doesn't know what he wants them to do.
If were all honest with ourselves never mind board disruptions and lack of funds etc. he needs to go, I don't believe anything will change until there's a change of manager ( even with new players)
BMD will be fired before the end of the season. He is a wonderful person but football is all about results and his record at Leeds speaks for itself. I would love to see him stay but I am not the Italian.
Love to see him stay. Wot and get us relegated, nice man but he's not a football manager!
11 Feb 2014 21:29:40
Hi. so people who went tonight. was it really as bad as it sound or looked?
Yes, I'm afraid it was, I've just got home to Sevenoaks but you've got to feel for the 2,000 on the way back to Leeds. Biggest away support all year at Brighton and a Tuesday night after Yeovil on Saturday. They certainly deserve so much more. Living in the a south I have watched Brighton a number of times this year and they are poor, far worse than last season, made our defense look good. We were dreadful going forward which was really disappointing as I thought we passed the ball well against Yeovil.
11 Feb 2014 21:25:04
Come on Noel, now's your chance!
12 Feb 2014 06:55:37
Okay here goes! Deal or erm no deal? Edmonds wouldve been a better signing!
Yep, he got a yellow card, despite only coming on for the last few minutes, well done!
11 Feb 2014 18:05:38
How could anyone misrepresent me so badly.
All I said is that in my opinion the FT article was for the benifit of the FL so they could see how committed he is to Leeds United.
When WHEN did I say Massimo was telling lies.
What are you drinking.
Big game tonight.
A defeat would be a disaster for us and the boys.
Survivor You give us the Info it's up to us what we make of it, Thnx & please keep it up!
"Big game tonight.

Looks like the Titanic has sunk then.

Ok Guys, Maybe ED013 can back me up here
GFH actually borrowed £4 million off bates in November, this is to be paid back over 4 years, This is what I believe to have ben the lowering of the original bid
Ref Farnan or what ever his name is, trying to blackmail us to accept his bid stinks
Lets hope Cellino gets the green light, this time next year, we will be millionaires lol
{Ed013's Note - I was lead to believe that GFH owed Ken Bates 4 million over 4 years, or if it wasn't direct to him then it is to the company that loaned him the cash for the East stand improvements. They have since borrowed 6 million off of Flowers, so the figures show that they aren't putting any of their own money in and were hoping the profits paid for everything}
11 Feb 2014 17:40:10
Bates confirmed in snail on Sunday that gfh had no outstanding debts with him?
I'm surprised you believe anything you read in the snail, let alone anything that comes out of Bates's mouth?

Cagliari . Qatar confirms: "We are the prerequisites for an investment"
11/02/2014 13:34 by Marco Conterio Twitter: @ marcoconterio article read 7468 times
The World Sports Company Qatar is cautious but confirms what we told you in the last few days. "Cagliari is a great club and is a case for further investment in Italian football. Al-Abdulrhman Abduljabbar. Stock and Finance and Sports Island. What we have said is that in three days we could see the Cagliari change hands, from Cellino to the Al-Thani family.
looks like missimo got himself a buyer, leaving him free to concentrate getting the ground back, followed by promotion ASAP. MOT
I think this will all have to wait until the FL give him approval though.

For Sale: One Striker, good runner (in all directions except the goal), loads of previous owners (motivation usually lasts 10-12 months due to small capacity), a few knocks ( has a habit of colliding with corner flags/posts/other players and falling over ). Excellent strike rate, well, in pre season. All enquiries to Venkeys we have washed our hands

If farnam puts a spoke in things now he will not be a very popular man. He doesn't have the financial clout we need anyway. Farnam. We have made our bed and will lie in it! So sod off and leave us alone.

Why do stupid people make up so many terrible lies on here.
FL rules you can't take a player on loan in this window if they are not registered already with a British club.
Can a player who is not attached to a club be picked up, even if foreign? And could a few be released from calgari in order for leeds to sign them? Just a thought.
11 Feb 2014 16:29:04
Survivor, have you any info on possible targets?
That's actually a quality idea for a loophole release them for no comp or loss to the owner because he is re signing them instantly for his other club. Going to keep my eye out for that one!
11 Feb 2014 12:37:38
In the words of John Cleese from The Life of Brian, "I want to make this absolutely clear".No one is to mention signing, loaning, or any other such transaction of a Foreign player as the window is Closed! Even if they do say Jehova
11 Feb 2014 11:04:28
Relax people fernan has no chance gfh excepted the cellino offer, waitin on fl approval wed/thurs its in the bag,, also fl haven't got the power to who Leeds can say of owning the club mot
If the FL tell GFH to talk to Leeds Together consortium then GFH could take that as the FL recommending the Leeds Together bid. Then if anything went wrong now or in the future the FL could face legal action for recommending an unsuitable bid.
FL will simply either approve or block the Cellino takeover. They are in no legal position to look at the Leeds together bid as it has not been accepted by GFH and is therefore irrelevant
Brown envelopes?
11 Feb 2014 10:08:54
24 hours till D-Day I believe! god I hope the deal goes through which I think it will maybe the don should offer the FL (simply make them an offer they can't refuse) lol at the end of the day we need passionate chairman like this in english footie and its great he choose us! roll on brighton tonight 3 points me thinks!
real statement to the teams above with a win tonight back in the hunt! maybe a goal from noel hunt lol
COME ON LEEDS MOT
