Mornin siblings, long time no see lol. Lots of interesting debate! As I see it we have been longing for a decent owner since Ridsdale sent us down the toilet. On paper Leeds are hugely attractive so why no serious buyers? There must be something very off putting. Cellino bought without due diligence, the thought at the time crooks selling to a crook for a quick sale, hence Cellino did not realise the extent of the financial mess. The situation with Elland Road and Thorpe Arch must be a factor. Either Cellino is lying and swatting away investors because he does not want to sell, or no one is willing to risk it for some reason. Of course this leaves us all very frustratedly in the dark and speculation becomes rife. Cellino is far better that what we have suffered, give him another season I reckon! Down those pints and up our Whites.

on paper leeds are hugely attractive?! you still believe that. leeds are most likely viewed as a black hole by potential owners from not owning the ground to the minority of incredibly ungrateful fans. take away your bias and look at the club objectively if I wasn't mad or a life long leeds fan I wouldn't come anywhere near it as a potential owner. the glory days are well and truly over get used to this mediocrity its here to stay.

Welcome back vid old boy. Good post for a change lol.

Seriously, there must be a lot going on behind the scenes that makes investors steer clear. With GFH still involved and Bates lurking around it must be difficult to sell.

On the up side, we are a one team city with supporters clubs world wide and whilst some people say we're not a big club anymore, that's a load of s***e. Look at the support at some of the away games this season. 5,500 at Blackburn, more at Bolton. If the team start performing the support will come back to ER too and with this new season ticket offer, gates should me much better from the off. Turn ER into a fortress and we could get some serious momentum next season for a promotion push.

Having said all that, we will keep hold of our better players (Cookie, Cocaine and the proud Peacock) ? Will we invest? Will we recruit a decent manager or hire another nobody?

No-one knows what's going on in Cellino's head, but I agree he should stay for another year. He has got money and if we got a sniff of the Premier league, I think he would invest. Whilst I'm not his biggest fan (and that's mainly down to how he treats people) , sometimes it's better the devil you know than the GFH and Bates' out there that you don't who want to sell club down the river.

We're potentially one sale from either being plunged into the football wilderness or being promoted and back on the map. Depends on how you see your glass. Mine's always half full but I'm off to get another one in quickly before a queue forms at the bar.

UTW, DTP brothers and sisters!

very true Blue I am biased, I am a Leeds fan, it helps! As an investment, a single team city, huge fanbase that's worldwide, cheap as chips compared to an established premiere team, that investment could be trebled if we made it to the promised land. I don't believe the glory days are still here, I would like them back! don't be bitter, its ok, what will be will be regardless of what we say or do, so get drunk ;)

What's off putting is GFH
who would want to be involved with them.
