Slightly concerned. Need the 3 today. Others seem to be getting results. Villa and QPR off the boil. Was hoping these would help us out. Hudders luck due to expire, (when they play Fulham) . Do not want it to go to wire. let's get the 3 today.

Dilemma, watching match when wanting both to lose. On reflection reluctantly want Villa to lose, (cant bear to say other team to win) assuming they have no more parachute money for next season.

Derby! Hate Grealish and Terry more than Mad Frank and Bulging eye mad man Keogh! And to be fair to them they came back and beat us when it mattered. Villa haven’t!

Lampard masterclass. Hit the deck at every opportunity.

14 May 2019 11:39:42
Daily mail topic: Grealish is the most fouled player in the whole of the EFL with 154 fouls against. Next has 109 fouls against. If this is the case why does he not wear shin pads like everyone else.

1.) 14 May 2019 11:45:50
Shin pads! The poor snowflake requires a protective bubble.

2.) 14 May 2019 11:54:35
White To emphasize the pain and foul because it helps him claim the free kick. He's weird.

3.) 14 May 2019 12:16:06
He's a young kid I think he likes to think he's a trend setter with his hair an all that with him thinking I'm best player in Championship so I'm special so I need to look and be different.

4.) 14 May 2019 14:02:22
Why don’t we actually foul him hard and scare him out the game?

5.) 14 May 2019 15:39:05
I’d love to kick him into row Z!

6.) 14 May 2019 15:58:06
He does wear them. Its against Law 4 not to wear shin pads and they have to be covered by the socks. He has a superstition of having to play with his socks rolled down so he wears tiny child sized ones so he can still wear them and cover them with socks therefore complying with the rules while still being aligned with his superstition.

Personally, I think its a bit of a loophole but if I was playing against him i would toe punt him in the shin 'accidentally' while going for the ball and breaking his shin.

Re the stat - its probably not fouls against as much as the highest number of 'successful deceptions of a match official'

{Ed001's Note - he actually wears small ones because of his obsession with being like George Best, which is also why he has the longish hair. He laughably also thinks he can play like Best!

By the way, you would be more likely to break your toe than his shin.}

7.) 14 May 2019 16:27:57
Alf What did you eat bro? That's a very intellectual post of yours.

8.) 14 May 2019 16:57:01
Obsessed with being like George Best. Think he would have stayed Irish then.

9.) 14 May 2019 17:28:06
yeah, maybe break is a bit far but it would blummin hurt him and a badly bruised shin would make him think twice about gliding past defenders.

I can certainly believe the George Best angle though, even though Grealish himself has denied it in the past.

"A lot of people say that it’s because of George Best, " he said. "While I love him and admire so much what he did, that isn’t the reason. " He added: "It's a superstition that I've done all my life and I'm going to keep it that way. A few referees have tried telling me but I've got to keep it like that. "

Fortunately he doesn't play for Leeds or it would mean a new rule brought in to stop it happening, a fine of £200k and a ban for life for the player. Well, after the 4 months of meetings to discuss it, of course.

{Ed001's Note - it was Grealish himself that said it was because of Best too! He drinks so much he can't remember the crap he has spoken.}

Did we not have penalty awarded by ref but cancelled by linesman for offside (but not offside) . Trying to remember who against, but sure it was this year. My memory is not that good.

1.) 13 May 2019 09:59:41
Alioski won a penalty which ref gave but then got ruled out for offside but video evidence proved no one was offside I think forgot who it was against now.

2.) 13 May 2019 10:06:03
Maybe it was against Derby, but Frank would remember this wouldn't he.

3.) 13 May 2019 10:14:31
It was Derby and Fat Frank is at the head of the triumvirate of managers i can't stand as they are whining whinging hypocrites who resort to dirty tactics and cry foul if anyone does it to them. The other two being Dean Smith and Chris Wilder.

05 May 2019 14:49:23
Just wandering, when did we last get anything from a corner.

1.) 05 May 2019 15:40:08
Or a penalty!

But we still have a chance. Fulham and Wed might lose points. One of these have to depend on us dropping points. Still in our hands.

I too picked up on your points. Keogh should have been booked for his outrageous dive (couldn't believe he got a free kick for it) , and would then have had to be wary of another yellow. He is constantly looking to incite a reaction. Bamford should not have been booked as he was pushed but contact was too light to give a pen.
like most though, I do think Bamford has been a disappointment.

Agree for sure. On the other side how good is Jamie Shackleton.
