Good morning ladies and gents. I've not posted on here for some time but am a daily reader of the site. I thought it's about time I once again shared my ever present optimism, so here I am!

I genuinely am a lot happy than I have been for the past few seasons, let's look at the positives:

- We now have Sol on a permenant contract, he's a quality player and should be captain in my opinion.

- We have Wood and Irwin, as well as Ant, three good strikers at this level.

- We have so far kept hold of our young guns, I know Byram is still questionable but I hope he stays. These guys and especially Cook are potential future England internationals.

- We now have a decent back room set up with Pearson running the show. To me the guy has already shown his class, look at the positives since he joined.

- And finally, there's still enough time in the transfer wi Dow for Morrison to leave. (Credit though where it's due, he has done ok in pre-season so fat)

Anyway I'm really looking forward to the new season. Hopefly we will add a bit more pace before the window closes and we will be set for our asult on the top half.

The future is bright and very white.

Danny, I'm on your side of the fence mate, sure things can always be better but Rome wasn't built in a day and with 1 or 2 quality signings hopefully still to come our squad looks much better, manager looks much better, support team looks much better, club executive types look much better than we have in the last 3-4 years at least so yep let's smile on.

Top 6 may be a push at the moment but you never know sometimes teams come from nowhere (like Bournemouth 10th in 13/14), so for me with lots of things now in place if we did manage to sign 2 quality guys to add to what we have then I could see a possible top 6 push, squad right now around 9- 10th possible for me.

I like to think I am a positive realist hence views above

Yes I am more optimistic about the future of the club.

I am not a fan of MC but it looks like he getting to the bottom of the KB legacy and hopefully we will be trading in profit soon.

On the pitch we are moving in the right direction but its not going to happen quickly as the squad still needs a lot of development and investment.

Yes you are right BW. Our chances of that disappeared when we got rid of the Hock. And still not even any wingers!

Leave smitch alone u lot
He maybe a negative so and so but I think he knows what he is talking about sometimes
Better to want more than settle for less
Being negative just means u expect more and although lots of pluses. We have yet to see it turn into points promotion. Or peurope!
