Haven t posted on here for a while though I read the posts by others every day as usual. Its interesting to see that some of the ‘doom and gloom’ bashers that were so supportive of our new ‘saviour’ and critical of some of us for daring to show caution when ‘ItaliaBates’ took over, have went very quiet. Maybe they are in Spain or on holiday, or maybe they are worried the tax dodger will have to sell, or maybe they have realised that this guy is taking us back down to league one with his pig headed attitude and his inability to accept anything that's not cellino or salerno made. I remember one poster asked me, if cellino was a success this season would I admit I was wrong about him? Fourth from the bottom and falling, less than half of the players these two Chuckle brothers brought in are not good enough, wants to bring in another unproven target man when we need wingers to supply the strikers we already have, etc etc. I could go on, but I think the Rose Tinted Glass brigade would be able to put a good spin on all of it. One things for sure, it wouldn t be ItaliaBates’ fault. Right?

Well Irish. Totally understand where you are coming from, but disagree fundamentally about Cellino being like Bates. In fact I still believe that a part of the problem is that Bates is still far more connected with the club than we know about.
But think back several months when MC took over. There weren't exactly many others in the queue. I don't think any of us would have chosen him if Red Bull had come knocking on the door with their billions. And who knows, that might yet be the next step.

Speedy, you could be right about Bates still being connected, if reports are true, cellino asked him and GFH for a loan, why if he s so wealthy, did he use his own(or his familys) money to buy in the first place? I just don't trust him. In my opinion, he s just like bates

Can't answer that Irish because I agree it's all very odd, and I doubt we will ever be able to find out what's going on in the background. I don't want to come across as sounding like I think he is the Messiah, because I don't. I just think he was the best option at the time, but it is very worrying that he hasn't severed connections with the likes of Bates and GFH
