Poveda in trouble for driving offences. No insurance and driving whilst disqualified. What is that all about?

Football players live in a different world to the rest of us, here's an example of a young man who thinks the normal laws doesn't apply to him.

Deserves everything he gets should be jailed, my son was hit by a prick like Poveda over 5 years ago he still suffers and the bastard who was uninsured got banned for 5 years and community service frigging joke he was driving again two weeks after the incident. Apologies for swearing but Poveda and the like can rot for me.

The sentences allowed under the law are far too lenient. A car is a lethal weapon and can kill just as easily as a gun yet, as you say, the offender gets a slap on the wrist (which is often ignored) . The punishment is soon over but the punishment of the victim and the victims families can go on for years.

Agree Oldbri, I would give a prison sentence automatically to anyone caught driving while banned. I don’t care that he plays for Leeds or not, too many dickheads doing what they like with no consequences.
Hope Leeds fine him 3 months wages as a minimum.

I’ve seen one of our young 'stars' park in the disabled bays at my local M&S. Makes my blood boil. Another case of rules not applying if you’re a footballer.

Poveda with driving offences. Aaronson with diving offences.
