Going by a recent post, George will be delighted to hear that Tyro is out to the end of the season following surgery on a torn hamstring tendon. No wonder the lad couldn’t move much.

Feel sorry for Roberts and wish him well but he was never going to save Leeds of course ( goals and assists) this season ,

but the real question who is?

Final 11 matches, just 11 matches Marsch needs to get things 100% right on the pitch and ALL the players who play really need to make differences in actually picking up wins, goals scored, clean sheets, points ;

Bamford and hopefully KP really need to play every remaining game from now on if at all possible

Marsch and players need to be very vocal get in the officials faces too, crowd the ref appeal for everything; absolutely loathed Bielsa and the passive Leeds team on this

Must win games in next 2 matches.

Wish young Tyler Roberts well, he’s still a very young player, and whilst I fully accept he hasn’t established himself at Leeds, still not right to be trolled as he has recently, on social media.

In reality his future may lie away from Leeds, even so I wish the young man well.

Clue I do not wish ill will on Tyro or on any Leeds player past or present. I simply think we have a better chance of success without him. He wouldn't make my match day squad anymore even when fully fit. He needs a move to the Championship.

With George on this, I was enraged when I saw Roberts brought on at the weekend and even without an injury that would have ensured nil points when we were chasing the game. Mayne this will force Marsch to attempt some original ideas rather than just gi for the same old. Roberts tries his best but clearly isn't good enough. Perhaps now we may find someone who is.

Got to agree with you George. I'd take it one step further and say I'm happy he can't be selected for the match day squad. He's useless. He has no influence on any game he plays in. Now that he can't be selected, it gives a class player like Joe Gelhardt a chance to wow us. Joe is a touch of brilliance and a much better game influencer than Tyler. Sorry Tyler, but you won't be missed. Simples.

No worries George, I know your post was somewhat tongue on cheek - and so was mine. I feel for the lad, as there is clearly a player on there, just struggling to get out. He would seem better served moving into the Championship for now, so he build his confidence and start enjoying his football again - maybe sell him with a buy-back clause just in case he turns into a world-beater.

Alf ' enraged ' he puts it when Marsch brought on Roberts.

YES Everyone has known for ages that Roberts isn't anywhere near good enough

BUT yet Alfs beloved ' genius' El Loco played Roberts not once but 100 times, don't recall Alf ever stating he was ' enraged ' over it. # double standards # hypocrisy.

Thanks Clue. Even though the site is clearly labeled banter, the majority of my variety of banter isn't appreciated by one particular poster. Thursday night we simply must SOTV.

Bielsa had a certain way of doing things Baz and as a genius and an Alchemist I was prepared to give him some leeway and faith (although I have mentioned umpteen times that I don't rate Tyler so hardly a surprise) . With someone new I expect things to be different otherwise what is the point in getting rid of a very successful coach. Maybe that makes it clearer why I was enraged. Not just the inclusion of Roberts but the fact that (as my post above attempts to explain) it was a case of nothing being any different to before. Same team, same weaknesses, same subs, SAME POINTS.

{Ed0666's Note - The new guy is a very good appointment in my opinion. I really like him. Sadly I do t think he’ll be at Leeds for the long term.

Roberts won't be a Leeds player if we stay up but if we go down he probably will along with Forshaw while everyone around them will be sold.

Alf : even after just 4 days of Jesse tbe defensive weaknesses were definitely' not the same'

in fact they were much improved Leeds looked far more solid.

We conceded the same number of goals against Leicester as we did the last time we played them, however, we scored one less and got 1 less point. so you are right - actually we did worse not the same.

Well let's see what happens in the remaining 11 games Alf.

Alf, last time we played Leicester the squad weren’t being required to do murderball three times a week, leaving them so jaded that they couldn’t sustain the running required by man marking and therefore leaving even bigger gaps for opponents to break into. Unless Bielsa had dropped to just 1 murderball session etc and modified his tactics, I suspect that had he stayed we may well have lost by 3 or 4 as Rodgers would have had Vardy and their other forwards pulling us out of shape, creating space for their centre mids and then running us ragged.

What do you mean Clu? Did Bielsa increase the number of murderball sessions as the season wore on? How do you know that? The fitness of the players was one of the main reasons that the players overperformed for the last 3 seasons and without that I don't think they would have done as well as they did. I said at the beginning of the season we would lose that advantage and did which was why we should have strengthened but was ridiculed at the time as many predicted top 6 finishes. How I wish they were right.

Phil Hay reported that in the last few weeks Bielsa had increased from usual 1 session of murderball to 3 sessions, perhaps in an attempt to boost their fitness. However, in reality it seems just to have left them drained, with worse results and wondering why they were putting themselves to such an effort.
