There are going to be 2 or 3 very good quality loanees coming in, once the Premier League squads are finalised. One rumour is a bid for James Milner, although it's unlikely he will choose his beloved Leeds if another Premier League team is in for him.

1.) 31 Jul 2013
Milner no chance!

2.) 31 Jul 2013
Now you are having a laff. a England international dropping into the champoinship

3.) 31 Jul 2013
Rediculous! He's one of city's top performers! Not a chance lad

4.) 31 Jul 2013
So James Milner who is probably on 60k plus a week would come on loan to Leeds who don't have a penny!

5.) 31 Jul 2013
James Milner? O behave yourself. MOT

6.) 31 Jul 2013
Haha good one do you relise how much he's on a week.

7.) 31 Jul 2013
Milner, are you serious?! People like you make these rumour sites look a total joke. Who's next, Bale?

8.) 31 Jul 2013
A little bit of wee came out then

9.) 31 Jul 2013
In a world cup year? plus all other 19 prem clubs would bite city's hand off to take him

10.) 01 Aug 2013
Wishful thinking! Milner is one of the best British-born players in the Prem. Chapel A

Never happens does it? Like Bellamy didn't go on loan to Cardiff when he was still Prem quality and an automatic international choice.
I've read less plausible rumours, just this morning in fact. Still think Milner and Lennon owe us something, frankly.

Man City are filling their squad with a different style of midfielder, Milner is a workhorse and might not fit the new manager's system. I can see him being made surplus to requirements, and we might just pull off a cheeky bid like the poster said with Bellamy.

13.) 02 Aug 2013
Big difference -Bellamy was already then at the veteran stage, 30+, whereas Milner is approaching his peak. Also, even at his own peak, Bellamy was never as highly regarded as Milner, nor was his transfer value ever anywhere near that of Milner's. His appearances for Man Cily, West Ham and Liverpool in the years leading to him going to Cardiff were intermittent; he was about to be left out of City's 25-man Prem squad when he joined Cardiff. And we all know, with respect, that there's a world of difference between being a regular Wales international, and an England player, with the expectation of performing at World Cups. Sorry. 14.) 02 Aug 2013
It's different when Milner plays for his club and his country is England not Wales.

15.) 02 Aug 2013
Bellamy cost Man City five million more than Milner did so, the idea that Milner has always been worth more is a little wide of the mark.
A number of top clubs would have been interested in signing Bellamy before he opted to go to his beloved Cardiff.
Doubt the Welsh would consider playing for England a greater honour than playing for their own country and remind me again exactly how well Milner does in an England shirt? Always puts in a shift but, far from the creative spark that wins games.

LOL Milner won't join Leeds! You'd never even be able to afford 20% of his wages
