Rumors that Adams said he wants to leave, big player and a huge loss for our team if he goes. Bought for 20 mil, have to be 35-45 now, I would also look at teams that potentially buying him and do cash plus a player in position we need.

Personally, I think we take with a pinch of salt all of these claims to stay or go; I am not sure any will make a statement on their intent [unless they are out of contract] until a manager is in place.
They're all on holiday and who are they telling their intent to, other than their agent, who would say anything to any one if it meant a transaction and another big slice of a fee. Nothing of note really happens at this end of window; there are always a lot of dominoes to fall this early on. Players intending to stay suddenly end up on their ear if a good recruit becomes an option and vice versa.

A week to go, please please please don't have Bamford as our main striker, needed replacing 3 seasons ago, sorry but not good enough.
If rumors true and it's 15mil for Joel Piroe, just pay it. He has scored 20 goals in each of past 2 seasons.
Maybe use Geldhert as sweetener.

I really hope Leeds United have several good CF alternatives other than Joel Piroe because
1) , it feels like Swansea may have priced Leeds out and not even sure Leeds are in for him anyway
2) Leeds dealing with and trying to buy players from other clubs than Swansea is far more preferable given the previous DJ last minute collapse of deal experience in 2020
3) I believe it is a given that if Southampton are interested, in any event Joel Piroe will choose them linking up with his old manager Russell Martin ( just as that LB Ryan Manning did a few weeks ago )

You say no to holgate, I can’t judge as I’ve never payed much attention to him. Likewise Nat P, not got a great record but I do trust the manager to develop this kind of player.
Rodon or tanganga on loan would be decent shouts
We need a proper left back not another makeshift square plug in round hole again.
I’d prefer to sell Bamford but if he stays as nobody will possibly want to buy him, he must be 3rd choice not anywhere near first or second choice.

Very underwhelmed so far, transfer window been open for nearly 6 weeks and one player in.
We need things to ramp up asap or we can seriously forget an instant return to the premiership.
Realistically, think we need 5 or 6 new signings, GK, CB, LB, MF, AMF, CF x2.
Disappointing to hear Wober leaving and be hard to take if Adams goes, but who could blame them, seems mass exodus but no real influx for rebuild.

Now Wober looks set to leave, he and Adams were my must keep.
Rumors of 11 mil for Wober, then go get Nat Philips now for similar cash.

Any player that wants to leave for me is better they go because it only proves they were passengers and don’t give a toss for the club they play for.
Those type of players will never play above themselves when they are called upon to do so.

If Baracus has a good season and builds up some mass it could be useful having him back should we go up. Llorente is a lost cause I think but hopefully we can either keep loaning him out or sell him at the end of this season, or, who knows, with a new boss at the helm he may be able to get better performances out of Llorente.

There’s a good reason for loans. If selling occurs at less than their booked value (their depreciated values) All losses have to be taken at the time of the loss. It can seriously impact FFP calculations. Loans means they can still be depreciated on the books, and likely have their whole salary paid. It’s a very effective way of mitigating losses.

I was from born in Fearnville, then moved to shadwell until big move to Melbourne.
I still miss Leeds, meeting mates for pool at Elbows and then pub crawl with curry to finish.
Come back every few years and is still Home but have a great life in Oz.

Cork, for me it has to be Adams, he’s a fantastic athlete, never stops running and drives the team.
I agree not as efficient when he has the ball but put a player in midfield with vision and passing ability and could be a great MF.
Needs someone like a Pablo or Shelvey to turn into attack.
I would make him captain and 49’s should say give us this season to get promoted, if not you can leave.
Maybe the USA bond will help convince.
Then of others, like to keep Wober, Sinistera and Rutter.
