Mmmm. I’m still not sure about the wisdom of keeping Farke. One thing I will say and say every bloody year. Get transfer business done pronto. Let the manage have as much time as possible working with newbies.

I get that Farke has a point to prove that he can do the job in the Prem, but i don't get why he would try, other than ego and pride.
Surely, being the man to hire to get your team promoted from the champo has more respect, credentials and ego-rubbing than possibly being able to keep a team in the prem for more than a year.
Farke could name his price.

I would assume so Aus or a combination of other factors meaning a move was not possible at this time. It may be that the 3 managers that were shortlisted don't want to work with a data driven recruitment model or maybe they don't feel its the right time etc. for whatever reasons the match couldn't be made. Never say never, we could still see movement in this area but the latest I have heard is that Farke is staying.
