Jack Harrison could return to MLS this summer, YEP understands. No approaches or official negotiations yet - finances a potential sticking point - but exploratory talks understood to have taken place. On-loan Everton winger contracted to #LUFC til 2028.

MLS unlikely re Jack Harrison OTT too high weekly salary
I rate JH up to 2023 (played very well for Leeds esp 2020 to 2022)
but he has regressed and lost a lot of confidence within 2 years in an unwise move to a then anti football Dyche Everton etc
And what on earth was Victor Orta doing giving JH a whopping OTT £90K a week ( and for 5 years) contract?

Harrison has always struggled to reach the levels required to be a Premiership player. Just not good enough and I’m sure he will go back to the MLS as it’s unlikely that he wants to play Championship football which is and always has been his level.
Long contracts are given to a lot of players now so to spread out payments and avoid over spending with PSR.

No OP JH had a standout EPL season 20/ 21 and more than decent EPL seasons 21/ 22 and 22/ 23
MLS destination? hmmm
well Radz and Co gave him £90,000 a week which is higher weekly salary than all but 2 MLS players Messi and Ignsigne ( Source MLS salaries 2025) .
{Ed001's Note - MLS salaries are declared Baz, you don't need to list a source. Like NBA, NHL, NFL and MLB, their salaries are open to all to see. I think all football leagues should go down this route. The jealousy about how much they earn is much less when people actually know it for sure. That would lessen a lot of the online hate the players get.}

Cheers ED001 for that info.
{Ed001's Note - very welcome.}
