Think it would be good for his development tbh. He's definitely got some talent that needs nurturing, but he's not going to get it with us. He could strike up a decent little partnership with Hardie at Plymouth.

The thing with Joffy is that he is caught in no man’s land. There is definitely talent there, and he will develop, but there is a glass ceiling above him here, and the u21’s is a no go. He needs a move where he is going to play full matches, week in, week out, with a good coach. (Don’t think that’s Rooney, but he was a great striker) . Plymouth would be ideal.

Can't keep everyone, mate. 3 players left and dropped down level (s) to get game time. So they clearly weren't ready for first team when we had them. And Cressy wasn't going to start over Struijk, Rodon, Ampadu and to a lesser extent, Cooper (although could arguably have been given some minutes over him at points) . Just the nature of the game. The fact Davis had gone on to success some years after Leeds doesn't mean it was a bad decision at that time. It's retrospective determinism, because you're assuming their career progression would've been exactly the same had we kept them at the club. When in reality they would've been worse off because they wouldn't have played and wouldn't have progressed to the same extent they have. And the reason they progresses is because they left and got playing time elsewhere.
