Calm ya passions lads. Summerville was out the door last season, he stayed because he knew it was his best option, it was. The rats who bailed after relegation are nobodies. Summerville won champo player of the year.
Selling him is best for the club and summerville.
Money to Leeds United is no longer an issue. Sell who we need to sell, even if it's at a reasonable price.

MoTagain ??????I fully 100 million % agree with you on all counts. We need players who turn up on big games not those that only show up against the smaller teams.
A lot of posters need to realise that last season we should have got promoted but we failed which means something needed changing with new players needed. It’s no shame in selling those that don’t have the heart, the 49ers are no mugs, they run a lot of businesses to the tune of billions so those that are saying it’s no better run than when Radz and co owned us, give your head a shake and shame on you!
Be grateful that you have owners that want success, if they didn’t then we wouldn’t of bought Rodon and Bogle, we would of kept selling and those of you that are stupid enough not to realise that for as long as we are not an established premiership side we will always have to sell.
Some posters on here just love blaming first and foremost the owners, well you have got that totally wrong, the manager maybe, the players yes!
Get a bloody grip, again the season is over before it’s begun, bloody boring crap ?!

Great post MoT, and totally agree.
Slating the owners is a very simple knee jerk. He has only two years left on his contract, and the add ons won’t have been included if they were “un achievable”, otherwise, what’s the damned point? Be honest, would he have signed another contract with us? Nah, nope, never.
People saying that “we clearly need the money” is the ultimate BS too! The money may however be needed for the P&L, but as a club, we do not need money, nor are we skint! And the financial dynamics we have faced this year are not the liability of current ownership.

Summerville was top scorer by default. I'm not going to talk down the lads talent because he is talented but we mixed our scorers between bam, Piroe, mj, Gnonto, James and Summerville. One of them was going to score most, it just happened that Summerville, while a cracking talent, played the most.
He doesn't fit with the squad though, there were countless times last season he went for greed and not for the team. He always referred to the club as 'I' and not the team.
By the end of the season Summerville was found out. Watch the matches after the last international break, he was man-marked by two all the time, he couldn't go anywhere. Farke had to keep switching Summerville and Gnonto just to confuse the defense and that's not sustainable game after game.
He did great last season but He, the club and the fans know that the borrowed time he was on came to an end when the final whistle blew at wembley. For all concerned it's best he moves on and good luck to the lad.

The best deal for Leeds was Summerville moving on. Doesn't matter if we flogged him a KitKat and a freddo. We got the deal and as a bonus, Summerville is happy.
Win/ win.
Leeds isn't just a football club anymore, it's now a serious international business. Some decisions will favour the sport, all will favour the business for the better.
I've said before, Baz. Promotion will happen because there is no alternative.
We started and ended last season poorly, yet hit #1 spot and earned enough points for automatic promotion in any other year. That happened with a new manager, our team leaving, stop gaps purchased throughout the season and a new owner.
This season we have our ducks lined up.

Here we go again, we have to get promotion, but will we though! why bother following and watching Leeds then, I tell you what let’s just go for relegation and anything else is a bonus then ?
As for all the stupid posters and talking more sense than me Rambo then all I can say is it’s a pity it’s not you talking more sense then eh! Some of your posts since the Cry story came out are bloody ludicrous, nobody even really knows what the actually fees are yet, nobody knows what the 49ers have in mind and if you think for one minute that we didn’t need to change some players to progress on last seasons finish then you are deluded.
MoT nailed it, 2 years left on his contract what on earth do you think you will get for a one trick sulking pony with two years left, one good season with no international call ups who spells team with a big fat ‘I’ who showcased his talents in a weak championship league, (I mean even Baz quoted as saying “a league one team went up ahead of us” and he’s always right) and let’s not forget when did he really turn up against the more defensive sit back teams? He had a massive part to play in the one off Wembley final against Southampton, oh hang did he play that day?, I know I saw his name on the team sheet, just can’t remember him playing that day! How much did you really think he’s worth then?
Oh and for the record I’m happy for Gnonto to go as well, as long as DJ, Gino, MJ, Ampadu, Rodon, Struik, Gruev are on that team sheet with the additions of new recruits Bogle, Rothwell, and whoever else we buy in with the money then we will go up as champions. I’m not saying DF is perfect, after a very naive campaign he has lessons to learn and if he can’t he goes, simples, but I tell you all this, no promotion and players will be sold, no promotion DF on his way, if DF picks Bamford over MJ then he should be sacked straight away!, but the 49ers are no mugs and I for one am very excited about LUFC having owners as astute and financially sound as they are backing us all the way to constant success.
Like I said in an earlier post you all wanted rich owners, well these are the richest owners in our history, take a look you will no doubt say it’s made up but I assure you it isn’t, it’s in the billions, we are financially stable, we own our ground again, we own Thorp Arch, we have expansion plans for Elland Road, the 49ers have give us back what those before them stole from us, so please excuse me for not shedding any tears for the sake of Summerville, I’m looking at the much bigger picture through the biggest rose tinted glasses I could find! ????.
