According to the Beeb website Forest have agreed a £20 million fee for Dennis.
He scored 10 EPL goals in a relegated side last season ; 10 goals for Leeds this season would have been very useful
Why weren't Leeds in for him?

Simple answer really Baz, he’s getable unlike all the “targets” we’ve wasted months on AGAIN. No other team except maybe Man Utd seem to beat around the bush the way orta does on the seemingly must need transfers.
Striker and left back are no brainers.
Bamford can’t be relied up on in terms of fitness or number of goals scored
Joffy, is gunna be brilliant for us longer term but right now he’s not ready to be a regular starter.

I can definitely see Orta trying a poveda and cash deal for Brereton Diaz at the back end of the window.
To be honest I personally think whoever the striker maybe or if there even is one! They need to be delivering 12-15 goals minimum for us this season.
