He will do a job for them, and it’s good business for us, and the lad. I have a feeling he will prove a few people wrong, but wish the lad the best of luck.

He’s shown before that he’s very capable of performing well in the Champ, and I’m sure he’ll do so again, and may well earn himself a call up for Qatar, which wouldn’t have happened if he’d stayed here. Good luck to the lad. You never know, this time next year we may be bemoaning how we let him go so cheaply.

A tryer and undoubtedly has talent but I think the Prem is just too high a level at this stage in his career. To me it seemed he didn't think quickly enough on the ball or make the right decisions and I'm not sure that can be coached. Maybe with experience at a lower level he can improve on those areas. Good luck to him but I won't lose any sleep over his departure.

Alf, agreed. He always looked nervous to me, which I was as a player, and that doesn’t make a top pro.
