Phil Hay reporting that Leeds are looking at fringe Bayern Munich player Marc Roca (DM) . Played in La Liga for Espanyol previously.
Can't say I've seen him play, but optimistically, the games he played the most minutes in for Bayern they won 5-0, 4-0 and 4-0. Take that as you will, all things considered.

When signed by Bayern great things were expected of him, some seeing him as the long awaited heir to Xabi Alonso, but clearly things haven’t worked out that way. Biggest drawback for us would be his lack of pace, but he’s good in the tackle and is excellent at spreading the play and picking out forwards with long balls. Would be great backup to KP but surely we need more mobility in midfield than we’d have with the two playing together. Perhaps an upside is that if they’re looking at someone who can spread the play, as it might suggest Marsch is not looking to play as narrowly as many fear, and that KP’s greatest assets may actually be utilised far more than in his first few games under Marsch. Then again maybe Marsch could be looking to free up KP to play more box to box, as he did pre-Bielsa, which might actually help KP to keep his England spot, giving him more strings to his bow. At least bringing in Roca would certainly mean we weren’t entirely reliant on KP for the deep lying playmaker or ‘quarterback’ role - being a Catalan ‘Pirlo’ - so our season wouldn’t fall apart again if KP picked up another injury.
However, if we do bring him in, I’d certainly want a quality box to box midfielder to come in too.

Represented Spain at u19 and u21 and valued at &27m in 2019 so this might be a shrewd bit of business. Lad obviously has quality or Bayern wouldn’t have signed him, and it’s no slur on him not playing regularly given their available quality in midfield.
Could be a decent move and he’s a left footer.

Great things were also expected from Kun Temenuzhkov, Jay Roy Grot, And Mattheusz Bogusz. I’ll reserve judgement on this one.

Hmmm we nearly signed another fringe player from Bayern but seemingly dodged a bullet with Cuisance.
Hopefully this guy is decent if we do go for him.

Thanks Clue ? great breakdown. Potential positive outcomes if we sign him. Lack of game time is what concerns me, albeit only because of Bayern's quality.
