Bit puzzled by the suggestion that having got Firpo in we’re now focusing on bringing in a young mid to develo under Bielsa. I could understand if it meant our next signing would be a young mid for the u23s, as McGurk from Wigan widely expected to be the next through the door, but others seem to be interpreting the article as suggesting the young mid they hope to bring in is someone for the first team squad. If t (at is all we want then surely we already have Baby Shack who is a more than competent young mid who has already played with the first team in the Prem and seems to have a lot of potential for development here, and just came top in the pre-season bleep test.

You can still bring in a young player that is better than Shacks, who I personally don't rate that highly.
