With two doing a good job. With two "first choices" awaited and two young guns waitng in the wings why am I reading that we are still chasing Ben White. Surely that ship has sailed?

Bielsa supposedly doesn't like to give up on a player that fits what he wants and has had a lot of effort put into so I do think we will keep an eye on him and maybe bid again. That said even if they do decide to sell I don't feel like we will match what the bigger boys will offer, fee or wage.
As to whether we need him, Cooper will be the wrong side of 30 next season and has struggled to keep up with prem attackers in terms of pace and aerial ability in many games. White, Koch, Llorente and Struik (+youngsters) could give us a stable CB rotation for the next 6 or 7 years.

Leo Because he's class and can play DM plus last time I checked we can sell defenders or loan them out. Can't see Cooper playing many games for us next season.

White and Draxler are the only two I would break the bank for.
