Rate Casey but did not expect him in the first team so soon, just moved up to U23s, Bubs must have seen something. Cresswell one for the future as well. Pascal a bit like Coops in that he can really impress one minute then next game make silly mistakes. Consistency not there yet.

It was a confidence boost for the lad. Doubt if he will be a first team regular any time soon. Bubs must rate him and put him in to motivate him. He has done it with Gotts and Leif in previous games. Good management for me its how young ones should progress. Bubs has overlooked the youth and played it safe most of the time so i am happy he is introducing more of them to the matchday atmosphere and pressure. Folks been saying we need CB cover so why not him if he is good enough. Personally thought he would need more time but will trust Bubs judgement.

Good to see the young ones getting a taste. Casey is a tasty looking prospect and a proper unit as well which we have been missing of late. let's hope he continues to flourish.

We really are seeing the fruits of investing in the academy now, and there is a glut of top talent coming through. The only slight concern I have, and it sounds daft, is that we will have too much, and see a raft of youngsters, who will make it, allowed to leave at the end of the season, like last year!?
On a separate note, anyone know how Jay Roy Grot is doing? Still think he might have a future.
