Clarke deal £10m upfront with sell on clause and first refusal on loan should Spurs choose to loan him out at any stage.

Looks like a done deal. I know a lot of people are not happy about this but I can understand the pros and cons. He's decent but not replaceable and if we can get in someone who's reliable with a bit more experience it could work out. I'd be more bothered if we were selling KP.

Good luck, Jack Clarke

I wish you all the best in the next part of your life journey

Hopefully you will blossom in to the great player that you have shown the glimpses of potential of being

Remember, you are the next ambassador for Leeds United, showing the world the quality we never fail to produce.

You might become a Spurs legend for a while, but you will always be Leeds supporter.

Good luck.

Bob

Cheers for that link

I love the general optimism surrounding this sale. In years gone by it would have been outrage. Pitch forked villagers marching on Elland Road.
We can't sell the family jewels. We can't let our best young talent go. We deserve more money.

These days the majority realise that it is part and parcel of the game we love.

By selling a Byram we, in part, financed the Academy that created his talent. This enabled Viera to develop. By selling Cook we enabled Clarke and Shackleton to develop. Now Clarke is enabling future stars to develop.

I will still see him as one of our own. I watch Rose when he plays for England. I watched Cook when he did. I used to watch Lennon and Milner before that. They have worn the white shirt with pride and I respect them for that and what they gave for my team.
