Haven't posted for a few weeks - just sitting watching it all unravel. It's all a bit doom and gloom at the moment that's for sure.
Surprisingly though, the various pundits on the BBC (both tv and radio) seem more upbeat about our survival chances than most of us do.
However, like most of us, they can't seem to see where we are going to pick up points from in the next few games - worrying times indeed.
I'm still optimistic that we will survive providing we don't let our heads drop.
I suspect that Farke's downfall will be his refusal to change (picking certain players, late substitutions, same format etc. ) , which in many ways was Bielsa's un-doing - a refusal to change.
I saw McAtee's name mentioned below as a possible loan signing in January - a good call. I'd also throw Harvey Elliot into the mix. Sitting on his backside doing nothing at the Villa currently. Either would hopefully provide us with that spark we so desperately need upfield at the moment.
If, or should that be 'when', Farke goes, I'm going to throw a name into the replacement hat - currently unavailable but if a certain result doesn't go his way he might be interested - Craig Bellamy.
Absolute pain in the backside as a player, but he's a fighter. He wouldn't be afraid to tell the players exactly what he thinks. Brings a tremendous energy and spirit to the game and, knows nearly half of our squad already!
All conjecture and who knows what the next 4 or 5 games may bring? Hoping for five wins on the trot naturally:)
MOT guys, we're still in this!

Excellent post Cleggy as always.
Had never considered Bellamy but think he has done a fair job with Wales.

Great post, and a great, leftfield-ish shout on Bellamy!

Good post Cleggy. I never thought of Bellamy either. He will see this WC play off out and personally, even if Wales miss out, I think he will stay on there. To have any chance of attracting any decent players in January, we must stay in the mix.
