A massive sense of total disappointment in Calvert Lewin
They know full well his propensity for. injury, and sure as hell he'll get injured this Seez .
And the problem that has been a problem for numerous seasons now shall return once again .
Very deflated if and I expect Calvert now to be the only additional goal scorer we get.

Everyone was saying the same thing about Solomon last season; he had had several seasons of injury and he turned out ok.

Ani, you're right, they were saying that about Solomon who was a replacement (and upgrade) over Summerville.
The difference here is that we've signed a guy with a worse injury record, who scored fewer goals and costs more money than Bamford, who we have just side lined.
Bamford has done everything for this club, and while he has missed sitters, he saved us and plays his heart out. To treat him like that doesn't sit right with me.
I've no effing idea what the 49ers and Farke are doing but all we can do is pray that they do.

Maybe if he’s used sparingly and as an impact sub then maybe just maybe I can see it but only if we get in another TOP, FIT striker!
As it stands right now we are in deep lumber and most likely getting relegated once again ?.

DCL played about 28 games last season and 38 the season before. The two before that were only 15 each. One season he broke his toe and the other was a hamstring I think. Hopefully we've got an "injury" clause in his contract. I'd be more worried that he hasn't had a good striker rate when he has played. Maybe that's down to Everton's ineffectiveness going forward.

MOT, I'm a big fan of Bamford, but I think DCL is a better player. Bamford scored in fits and starts, and missed shedloads [and very crucial chances] Wasn't Bamford personally responsible for our relegation according to a few around here?
DCL has been playing in a team which averages ~30% possession and something like 0.8 big chances a game. We will have more possession, and I think we will create more chances. Time will tell, but I think it might be a very shrewd signing and he has plenty of doubters to prove wrong.
If he signs, support him like any other player in White.
