Rather a bizarre line up for today’s game.
No James
No Perri
No Bogle
Aaronson on the wing
Schmidt at RB
Injuries? Illness?
Seems a very odd line up and squad.
Gotta get some more bodies in and fast because that doesn’t look too good on paper given we have what? 1 more pre-season game left after today.

Agree Dave, and yet again THREE keepers in playing squad with Cairns very unlikely to figure next season it makes no sense at all to me, give a promising outfield youngster the spot.

A few muscle strains apparently.
For those not able to watch the game my first half take is.
We looked ok first 10mins going forward, since then we look to be missing a creative spar or cutting edge.
Gnonto has looked reasonably lively, good linking up with Gabi.
Right side looks pretty suspect, Aaronson has looked ok, not great going forward but tracking back he’s looked alright.
Schmidt, doesn’t look to me to be an adequate back up for Bogle, caught out quite a lot, out of position quite a lot and would really get exposed v a better side.
Defence has looked ok, a little shaken at times.
Stach looks steady, some decent tackles and good forward balls.
Longstaff looks a little off it, maybe adjusting to the system and not having as much quality outside him to link up with as opposed to the left side.
Up top nmecha has been feeding on scraps.
Not too sure about Struijk as a starter, he’s composed when not under pressure but does get flustered/ rattled when pressed as we already knew.
Still think we need 4/ 5 more signings of a certain level of quality. Maybe we need a right winger over a lefty.
Defo some flair, striker, fullback cover, scares the ? out of me if we ever had to play Byram and Schmidt as full backs.
