A good performance notably from Tanaka and Willy who looks like a live wire, loved his cheeky moments of skill.
Bogle looking impressive also but like Aus pointed out It could be a concern with our wing backs so high up the pitch.
I will say though Bijol looks the part for me and will adapt to the Premiership very well. Could possibly be our most important signing this summer?
Meslier also looked impressive and I imagine ultra focused on being our number one again
A note on Man Utd, early days for them but I don’t see anything changing for them this season. They won’t be relegation fodder but I can’t see them breaking into the top half of the Premiership this season.
Finally our fans equating to about 25% of the attendance I believe with the majority being foreign Man U supporters.
Guess who sang the loudest?
Part of that noise was our very own Woody, well done son ??.

Lots of neutral 'fans' as well. Plenty of Barca, Real Madrid, Arsenal shirts etc. Sadly the way footie is going but it was 'only' a friendly I suppose.

Good overview OP. Willy looking sharp and keen is going to be a big bonus.
On the flip side, the word is that there is absolutely zero interest in that snake Harrison.

True Bright, I didn’t want to mention Jack Harrison because for me this player spells negatively for our club, I really hope he leaves and that is the end of it.

Awesome display by tanaka, bogle, gnonto, and I thought amps looked decent to looking a lot sharper than Man Utd team but it is only start of pre season so we ll see, but with stach coming now the headaches will start because who do you start, and if we bring in a ten then be picking 2 from 5 in midfield, but good thing if we don t get rid of any we will have quality coming on instead of kids or oldies like guilavogue, really happy about yesterday, but come to think of it it’s actually 2 from 6 with mr stach awkward me thinks but good to have competition and team does nt pick itself.

He'll either go back to the States or Saudi, certainly if he wants to keep earning what he is currently.
Thought Nmecha and Gudmundsson showed a bit of promise too OP.
All in all a very encouraging run out for us.

They all did Cleggy including Piroe who did look a lot sharper. It’s very early days yet but let’s just say for now that there are encouraging signs but I still think we will be battling it out in the lower half of the league.
Finishing anywhere above 17th this season will be a bonus.
As for Stach’s arrival which I hope he does, I wouldn’t be worried about who’s going to be missing out as there will be injuries and suspensions, the midfield will have to be better than we have seen it for a long time if we hope to have a longevity in the Premiership.

Don't disagree with any of that OP.
I think we will finish bottom half but not by much - we'll be safe and with a little bit to spare (just a feeling:)

Fink we will finish top half OP, confident of that. The prem will suit Piroe, intelligent player, also Willy, Rama and DJ, they are going to frighten defences. With additions to come it is falling into place nicely.

I think we all secretly hope that Vid, but football does have a tendency to throw the unexpected at you, injuries to key players etc.
For me I honestly believe we will break this mould of newly promoted teams going straight back down and i’m not too bothered if we do finish in the lower end of the league this season. So long as we look like we are competing and not getting blown away by the opposition like the previous teams that went back down.
I do believe in our owners to take us forward and our coach Farke to crack it in the Premiership.
Onwards and Upwards.
