I regularly read the posts submitted by you fellas and eagerly wait for news regarding transfers, I don't know where you are getting your information from, but I'm not knocking what news/ gossip/ rumours pop up from time to time, all I really want to say is, if Leeds don't get the quality players in and spend the necessary money, regardless of cost (a bit like Sunderland) we could get relegated (god forbid) , take the chance while we have it for goodness sake.
The bigger picture for me is and what I'm asking is how much would relegation cost, I can't help thinking just do it, spend the money now on quality, we've got a real fight on our hands next season.
Look lads I've had a couple of beers and just feeling frustrated again.
By the way I'm not a kid, I was born in 1956, I went to my first game when Albert Johansson was playing, so yeah certainly experienced my share of ups and downs.
Apologies for any grammatical errors.

Welcome Mr Monster, look at it this way, if it helps. It's an instant gratification society, but quality is not instant, it requires more than see it grab it. So, you go to a banquet and the starters look amazing so you binge on em. But then comes the main and you are a bit parked out so can't enjoy it an there is no way you are going to even attempt the sumptuous desserts because you are done. Fing is the main is the most satisfying and the desserts the climax. Patience Mon Brave and enjoy the cigar after a satisfying meal.

Welcome indeed CM. Always great to hear from life long supporters (especially if you can recall dear old Albert:)
Im sure we'll get a couple more across the line before deadline day and I for one have a feeling that we will be okay this season.

Hmm not really the response I was expecting, but I guess it takes all sorts.
Regarding Leeds recruitment and the outcome let's see what happens, just saying.

Lol and what were you expecting? Expectation is the mother of disappointment.

Explain Florists too me so Vid,
Realised team they had were Barry Whyte for. prem
explain how they spent spent spent, proved so so many people wrong and now sit in the upper half of league
I realise it could change, but you surely agree they have now given themselves a better platform than us to attract new recruits
Radz took your advice last time, . look where it got us AGAIN.
11 Jul 2025 22:27:47
Florists toon a path Chris. It worked for them, well done. But say your neighbour applied for a brilliant job an got it don't mean if you applied for a brilliant job you would get it. It's different for all and there is no "recipe" for success. When Fulham first went up they spent bundles, changed the whole team. Got relegated. There is NO silver bullet, there is NO right or wrong decision, only the best decision you can make at the time, stand or fall by it.

A monster welcome, sir.

I must admit when we were promoted I was confident of staying up. Said to my dad, all good this time. We won’t be relegated. Prob be knocking on 12th or something.
Since then slowly a bit of dread is creeping in.
Make no mistake. There will be no second chance. The quality of the prem will rip us apart if we don’t absolutely nail quality in this transfer window.
Vid might be right and the dessert was worth saving some belly space for. But it might get dropped on the way to the table too. None of us know. It could go either way.
12 Jul 2025 07:20:03
So to counteract your initial point, would you now accept it can work also?
I realise that it can backfire also vid and alluded to same
.
But this" oh if you think positively and put faith in the system, sillyNess is just ridiculous.
Our squad need big big change, comings. and. a nice few goings
If 9ers are going to gamble on only a small few changes
It's welcome back to Champo next Seez.
12 Jul 2025 08:28:33
Absolutely Chris, as you pointed out with Florists it worked spectacularly. But it's a massive gamble with the future of your club as we have seen previously. Is it silliness to have confidence when you get on a plane it is going to get you where you are going? I am merely promoting my personal opinion as you do yours, though I have generally found in life negativity breeds negativity so, hey, at least be smiling if the muck hits the brass.
12 Jul 2025 08:41:52
It's a gamble Chris, but gambles sometimes pay off. They initially survived, if I recall correctly ( I often dont) by the skin of their teeth. Had they not, they would have been in deep doo doo with a punctured lilo. Their gamble paid off. Historically, ours don't! ???.
12 Jul 2025 08:58:49
Approx 10,000 planes in the air at any given moment. And a jumbo goes down once or twice a year max. Have to be pretty unlucky or very very unlucky.
And the point is that forest did. We didn’t. Their gamble paid off. Ours didn’t. Have we learnt?
12 Jul 2025 10:15:52
I would say bearing in mind anyone could nnected to Ridsdale era is long gone from club Bright
So 9'ers now will believe their business acumen is exemplary I should imagine, but as I said to vid earlier, Radz didn't invest enough last time and now the question I pose back is
Have the 9'ers learnt from that mistake?
12 Jul 2025 10:30:44
Me and you both Chris.
12 Jul 2025 12:06:05
Exactly the point Chris. To Gamble or not to gamble. I'd prefer they didn't, as last time was too close to the death of our club for my liking. There doesn't have to be anyone from Pants down Pete's crew involved; just don't gamble too extremely, and don't jeopardise the existence of our club.
12 Jul 2025 16:20:52
Well mr ausman I am on the same page as you what you re really want to say is with out being a doubter we must all believe in our team but the way things are going it’s sort of creating negativity, come on who else thinks the same, and also the same as you some of the football we played last year was awesome so you think then a couple of new players in to improve us and away to go, but there’s got to be a balance look at Chelsea they ve got prob 4 teams there but do they know best eleven, so keep buying more, the thing is get rid of the people we not going to be playing then start bringing players in that will improve us a bit of quality nice keeper, 2/ 3 nice midfielders, another or 2 wingers and 2 strikers Ian not saying to spend billions but to give the team best chance also it helps the bench to bring on someone exciting.
