Hello fellas, how are you all? I hope you are all fabulous and enjoying this completely new banter site without the gripe meister! Thank you all for your messages and kind thoughts, it’s like having a family in my phone, I absolutely love you all for all the kind words you have sent. I lost my lovey mum on 28th April which was my birthday, she passed 3 mins before I was born 58 years ago, she was my best friend and I adored her, so weeks later I’m still struggling but I have been reading posts to cheer me up and the site is amazingly optimistic while edging caution with your posts, it’s going to be a difficult one but and achievable one with good solid signings. Big thanks to Class, Brightwhite, Cleggy, Bermo, Alf, MG, you are all amazing ? oh and one last thing, watch out Ed25 we are coming for you! lol ? hope you are ok Ed, thanks lads ?????.

{Ed025's Note - im good thanks Woody and thinking of you and the family mate..

Fantastic to hear from you Woody, made my day we certainly are one dysfunctional family and we’re still awaiting clarification on Aus.

Cannot imagine how tough it was to lose your mum on your birthday but I hope overtime this becomes a celebration of both your lives, lost my mum at 17 and she’s still the biggest single positive influence on my life.

Take your time Woody it will still be here whenever you need it ???.

Bless you Oldbri, what a lovely thing to say mate, and thank you LUFC for your kind words too. Always a pleasure hearing from you Ed25 and thank you ? Class it’s situations like you losing your mum at 17 that makes me grateful and humble at having been able to spend 58 years with my mum, and I can tell by your words you are a genuinely top bloke, thank you mate ?
I feel privileged and blessed to have had her and dad in my life and to be honest if someone said you could have your life again I would only say yes, if I could have the same parents, I was very lucky to have them both to guide me and love me.
Thank you so so much ?.

Well, all I can do is echo the sentiments already shared, and openly state than when I face similarly difficult circumstances I will unashamedly be a complete blubbering cabbage. Irreplaceable that parents are in most cases, I wholeheartedly empathise with those who have already suffered such awful heartache. Stay strong fellas.

Sorry to hear about your mum wooodster.
I’m 63 and still have both my parents so I too have been lucky. Although my mum has began the slippery slope into dementia. Bless.
